A Chinese browser-based MMO named Aurora Blade has been accused of lifting art and design work from a few other MMOs, including Ragnarok Online, Maple Story, and yes, even World of Warcraft. You can judge for yourself in the comparison above (the little Rogue is Aurora Blade, obviously), put together by ShackNews, but that definitely looks alike to us. The game is hosted in the West by a company called IGG, and they've responded by saying that they only host the game and aren't responsible for the game's artwork.

They give no indication, however, who is responsible for the artwork of the game, and there's nothing on the page or in the FAQ that gives a company name out either. Granted, Aurora Blade is hardly competition for World of Warcraft, but at this point it appears to be up to Blizzard whether they'll bother taking further action to get to the bottom of this.

Of course, there is a flaw in their plan. If they really wanted to rip off some cool Rogue armor, wouldn't it be Bloodfang? Why bother with Shadowcraft?

This story is really only tangentially related to our game, but we'll mention it anyway: a London teacher has been accused of sending sexually-related text messages to a 14-year-old student that she contacted while they were playing World of Warcraft together. Apparently the woman met up with the student in Azeroth, and then was able to somehow get his phone number from him. Later, the boy's father discovered explicit text messages from her on his son's phone, and she now faces jailtime as a result.

Of course, this says nothing at all about World of Warcraft -- there are man, many ways of communication on the Internet, and the game happens to be just one of them (and shame on the Escapist for even suggesting this is an argument against games in education -- the fault here lies with the teacher, not the game). You should be cautious about who your children are corresponding with no matter where they are or what they're doing, and in fact, this boy's father was.

Once again, Ben has sent in a beautiful screenshot that I know absolutely nothing about. Judging by the background, this looks like a shot from a planetarium somewhere inside Ulduar. The continents on the planets are too cloudy for me to tell which is Azeroth, although I hope it's not the one on the left -- it looks like that one's got a golf ball stuck in it. You can also see some of Azeroth's beautiful constellations, including the Squiggly Line, the Slightly Less Squiggly Line, and the Giant Black Holes Absorbing All Matter And Light.

This picture might look like the inside of a kaleidoscope, but according to Jumzuu of Blade's Edge-EU, it's actually the inside of the inscription trainer's house in Dalaran. "From the outside, it's a normal size building, but inside... it's roomy!" he writes. "It's hard to show both in the same picture." This is also what my fantasy apartment looks like. One question -- exactly how do they access the books on the top shelf with no ladder?

Frequent submitter Ben has sent us this lovely screenshot of ... of ... I'm not exactly sure what this is of. It appears to be a picture of someone flying a drake down a laundry chute decorated with runes. The drake also seems to be suffering from an acute case of Lightning Wing and Green Flatulence. I'm not too far into the Wrath content though, having devoted a lot of my time lately to getting the Ambassador title, so maybe this is one of those things that everyone knows about but me.

Each week Arcane Brilliance cooks up a feast for Mages everywhere, just like your mom does. Well...maybe your mom cooks for Druids--I don't know--but my mom always cooked for Mages. Especially at this special time of year, she wanted her little Mages to eat well and give thanks for the bounty they had been given. She taught us to always be grateful for Pyroblast, and Polymorph, but most of all, for Mirror Image. Oh, and she also taught us to kill Warlocks, but that's a whole other story.

So I assume that you're all about sick of leftover turkey at this point (at least, those of you who happen to live in America, I guess), and are ready for a heaping helping of something...Magier. Fear not, for Arcane Brilliance is here to serve a steaming pile of Mage directly to you. If you top it with enough gravy, it tastes pretty good.

When King Mrgl-Mrgl asked Faelthas of Bael'Gun to don a murloc suit and kill the Winterfin murloc leader under the pretext of surrender, he forgot to give Faelthas one vital piece of information. In a related matter, the first test of the Winterfin Caverns trebuchet was a smashing success.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can look forward to endless Christmas jingles and store decorations involving snow, snow, snow. Frost mage Ororo of Kargath is getting into the winter spirit with her own personal blizzard in the icy land of Dun Morogh. But what of those of us who live in warmer climes, like Durotar or Los Angeles? Are we always to be left out of the fun? Well, we may not have a white Christmas, but we'll be laughing in our tank tops when February rolls around and Ororo is burning her staff for firewood.

Yes, our podcast is a little early today (due to the holiday, I'm going to be traveling on Saturday, so no live show as usual this week), but we've got a bonus for you anyway: Felicia Day, creator of The Guild and star of Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog, joined us to talk about the second season of her web series, which just started up the other day, and the deal they've recently made for Microsoft to show it exclusively on MSN, Zune, and Xbox Live.

Since most of our bloggers were out for the holiday this week, it was just me and her, but we had a lot of fun -- there are some good hints in there about new characters coming to join our favorite guildies this season, the third season (!) of the show, and how Felicia is able to get MMO concepts (like "DKP" and the idea of a "guild" itself) across to people who may not play MMOs. This beautiful shot of Icecrown Citadel at night was taken in Dalaran by Althera of <Asylum> on Aerie Peak. Arthas certainly has better taste in housing than Illidan, doesn't he? But that spire looks pretty unstable. The Dalaran mages could probably take the whole thing down with one well-aimed Pyroblast. Unfortunately, they're too busy giving random level 74s directions to the profession trainers and hiding books in inconvenient places to give it a shot.

Who said that dwarf priests have to be all sweetness and light? Lightbright of <Night Renegades> on Bael'gun is looking decidedly demonic in this shot from Stratholme. I'm not too sure what spells and buffs he's sporting -- my own attempts at priesthood died out at 21 -- but to a layperson, he appears to have a cloud of levitation, an exploding halo, and a hydrocephalic demon head floating above him. Maybe he's just trying to blend in with all the new Death Knights stepping into Northrend?

Yes, as you know from the little Blizzard Bear in your mailbox, yesterday was the fourth anniversary of our favorite game, World of Warcraft. It's been a huge four years -- we've seen Blizzard develop and change massively multiplayer games as we know them, and gaming as a whole in some ways. We've grown our own characters up all the way from level one to 30 and 60 and 70 and beyond, and we've gone through two expansions, eight endgames, countless patches and class changes, endless guild achievements and breakups and many, many "dings" and "grats."

We at WoW Insider would like to congratulate Blizzard on four years of World of Warcraft -- it's been an amazing ride so far, and it's not over yet. After the break, some of our writers have posted their own thoughts and memories on the game's anniversary, and please add your own in the comments below.

It could seem silly to celebrate the anniversary of a videogame, especially one that, if you've been playing since day one, you've spent over $800 and countless hours on. But then again, look at what this game has given back: groups and guilds full of friends (and some spouses), weeknights full of gear upgrades and XP gains, Saturday afternoons spent slaying dragons and Sunday evenings spent picking herbs in the Swamp of Sorrows or admiring the sunsets in Hinterlands. We've played this game for four years, and for most of us, it's been worth every quest. Here's to many, many more.
