Hunter Beta News: Tranquilizing Shot explained, pet focus system adjusted

Good old Tranquilizing Shot seems to be getting a lot of attention in the beta world yesterday. Ever since it was bought back to prominence when it inherited Arcane Shot's old dispel mechanic and the ability to dispel PvP enrage mechanics, people have been wondering what exactly it will be able to do in PvE.

Lead encounter designer Daelo clarified the other day with some information on how enrage type effects will work in Wrath:

One Boss Leaves: Vashj vs. Huhuran wrap-up

Another week is upon us, which means another edition of Two Bosses Enter, our weekly deathmatch series, has come to a close. This week, Princess Huhuran overwhelmed Lady Vashj with 56% of the total vote. (Hmm... Vashj must have forgotten her nature resist set.) Though you might not think an oversized wasp could defeat a powerful Naga like Vashj, you've clearly never tangled with this particular insect: don't discount this bug's prowess (and nasty nature damage). Two Bosses Enter: Lady Vashj vs. Princess Huhuran

Two bosses may enter... but only one will get to leave in WoW Insider's fantasy deathmatch series. Every week we pit two of the World of Warcraft's raid bosses against one another in a battle that your votes get to decide. This week we have Lady Vashj from Serpentshrine Caverns in Outland matching up against Princess Huhuran from Ahn'Qiraj in old Azeroth. Though both of them are perfectly happy to wipe player raids, how would they fare against one another? Ultimately, that's for you to decide -- so read on!

One Boss Leaves: Princess Huhuran vs. Magtheridon

This round of Two Bosses Enter may be over -- but another is starting soon. As you may have guessed from the graphic above, Princess Huhuran wiped the floor with Magtheridon. Commenters cited Huhuran's poison and 30% Berserk abilities as the tipping factor in this fight. (For those of you who've never participated in the Huhuran fight, a Berserk at 30% might not sound like a big deal -- but trust me, Huhuran's Berserk trumps all similar abilities you may be familiar with.)
