Before I start this post, I should warn you that every single post we do about the size of something ingame must, by contractual obligations, contain a risqué double entendre somewhere within. Be warned.
Reader Veras was nice enough to point out to us that as of the 2.4.2 release, Tauren two-hand weapons have returned to normal size as planned. It seems to me that this got fixed fairly quicker than other size issues that Blizzard has had. We still have no idea how their code works (and what they're changing that causes all of these weird issues), but at least they're getting better at fixing things.
Of course, as any Tauren Fury Warrior will tell you, it's not the size of your two-hand weapon -- it's how you use it. Contract fulfilled.

Reliquary of Souls, Prince Kael'thas, and other bosses now properly cast their spells
The time before players with flags in Warsong Gulch receive the Focused Assault and Brutal Assault debuffs has been reduced
The timer for Focused Assault and Brutal Assault in Warsong Gulch will now reset whenever both Flags are returned to their bases

When taking the flight path from Ironforge to the Isle of Quel'Danas, you will no longer become fatigued and die if you had any buffs active which effect your ability to breathe underwater
Looting Bind on Pickup items now properly brings up the confirmation dialog while using the Round Robin looting method

The Horde Spirit Healers in Alterac Valley will once again teleport Horde players to a different graveyard if the current once gets captured by Alliance.

Increased Felbound Initiate respawn rate. These are the guys you need in the "Blood for Blood" quest.
You can no longer accept thequests given by Magistrix Seyla up in Hellfire Penisula without first compleating "The Missing Magistrix."
Thanks to rolling restarts last night, you will now see your server name correctly displayed in battlegrounds.

Thanks to tipster Enaress, we have a short video of an amusing (albeit potentially annoying) exploit ingame that allows you to summon an unlimited number of noncombat pets. From the date on the video, it looks as if this has been live since at least patch 2.3.0,and a few of the commenters have successfully tried it for themselves. A note of warning: be careful if you do this, as dropping out of sync with Blizzard's servers can definitely be considered an exploit, and, at Blizzard's discretion, could get you banned from the game. Odds are a fix is already en route.
I have to admit, I was amused at the prospect of having my small army of pets out and about, but from what Enaress has observed, doing this does have a tendency to contribute to the lag in Shattrath (which seems to be especially noticeable with complicated pets like Lil' Smoky). I don't think I'd try it for myself; Shatt can be bad enough during server high time. But there's something about the notion of my Druid as a dedicated cat-herder or, say, an Undead being followed by a swarm of cockroaches, that just made me laugh.
Here's a really interesting undocumented note from the latest patch: Angelhunter on LJ says letters (as in saved copies of mailed ingame letters) are now soulbound. And that's a huge deal, apparently, to roleplayers -- they used those little scraps of paper for everything from treasure hunts and "official" documents to invitations and tickets.
Now, I'm not quite sure exactly why this change would be made -- for what possible reason would you want to keep people from trading saved copies of in-game mail? It's not like it would stop anyone's communication -- anything goldsellers could say in these sheets of paper, they could say in in-game chat just as well. And I can't think of any possible way that these saved letters could be used to do something devious like pass secret letters or communicate across factions-- there's no reason to make them soulbound by default.
Of course, it may just be a bug -- that's what someone was told by a GM, so maybe Blizzard will put a fix in, and RPers can have their murder mysteries again. Unfortunately, I can't seeing it justifying a hotfix -- odds are that even if it is just a bug, RPers will be waiting quite a while until they can trade letters again.
For a short time, the PvP trinkets were able to dispel the Warlock DoT Unstable Affliction. This was quickly hotfixed:
A hot fix has been applied. Unstable affliction cannot be removed by using Horde or Alliance PvP medallion trinkets.
Shamans were in a bit of a tizzy over their talent Focused Mind, which reduces the duration of silence or interrupt effects used against the Shaman by 15% (not to be confused with the Priest talent Focused Mind, which reduces the mana cost of several Shadow spells). The problem is that the talent doesn't stack with other effects that provide the same bonus, which now include the Paladin Improved Concentration Aura (30%) as well as the Pendant of the Lost Ages from Serpentshrine Cavern (20%). And the Mage Arena Season 2 armor, which famously has less Intellect on it than their Season 1 armor, is also getting investigated: We've been able to identify what went wrong and the stats for the Mage Season 2 items are being corrected in a future patch.
Maybe these two are related, and maybe they aren't -- but this morning Tigole announced that the Magtheridon encounter was going to be re-evaluated over the next few weeks, as Blizzard had expected to see players progressing more quickly than they are. Just over an hour later, Tigole returned to announce a hotfix for a bug that was causing the Hellfire Channeler's "Dark Mending" spell to heal for more than intended. Of course, considering the number of complaints on the forums about the encounter, I doubt this will be the last change Magtheridon will be seeing.
