WoW Moviewatch: The Grind, episode 1
Somehow this episode of The Grind reminds me a lot of my guild's last attempt at Onyxia... (Don't make the same mistake we did: just because you're level 70 doesn't mean she's a pushover!) However, instead of heading out to Dustwallow Marsh and experiencing Onyxia wipes for yourself, you could enjoy the suffering of others vicariously, with the entertaining characters from The Grind. (Though their Halloween Special took top prize for comedy at BlizzCon, episode 1 isn't new. Sadly, we haven't seen anything new from Oblivious Films since summer.)
WoW Moviewatch: A guild battle-off
Obviously they duel the whole time (and I won't reveal who wins, but you could probably guess), but I think this would also be a fun guild event as a battle royale-- everybody jumps into Gurubashi, and whoever stands over the corpses at the end wins. Would be over a lot faster, for sure, but it would still be fun.

WoW Moviewatch: Lemmings raid Undercity
I know what you're thinking. You've seen capitol city raids before. You've seen hundreds of them! You've participated in them! But hold that thought -- this video is worth a watch before you come to any snap decisions, because this raid has style. Anyone can gather up 40 players and head to the nearest capitol city, but on Aszune (EU), this group of players decided to raid the Undercity as green-haired Gnomes, all dressed in blue. (Don't get the reference? Then you need to catch up on your classic games, friend!)

He is, apparently, a troll mage; he's put his physical combat days behind him. While you and I may define "festive" differently, this excellent machnima clip adds a World of Warcraft story to the music of The Nightmare Before Christmas. And, like all truly successful machinima, it features dancing gnomes -- huzzah!

WoW Moviewatch: HMS Theramore
If you're a fan of World of Warcraft machinima, chances are you're waiting for the next episode in Myndflame's Illegal Danish series, Escape from Orgrimmar (and if you aren't familiar with Illegal Danish, there's no time like the present to catch up by watching the original episode, Illegal Danish: Super Snacks). And while Escape from Orgrimmar isn't ready quite yet, Myndflame is placating us with this clip from the finished product, which also works as a stand-alone parody of the musical HMS Pinafore. WoW Moviewatch: World of Warcraft - Evolution
I have to say is that I think the order in this machinima is backwards -- Murlocs are clearly World of Warcraft's highest life form! (Or at least they are if you judge races by likelihood of surviving a nuclear attack: like cockroaches, Murlocs society can't be killed.) Other than that, though, I leave it as an exercise of the reader to determine whether the video is simply silliness or has some sort of deep existential message.

WoW Moviewatch: Warrior vs. Paladin: The musical!
World of Warcraft's two plate-wearing classes never seem to stop bickering. Who should tank? Who should DPS? Who gets that awesome +crit plate helm that just dropped?! Really, the only subject they don't seem to argue over is which of them should heal -- if you ask either class, they'll both tell you it's clearly the guy in the dress. But in this bit of machinima, Invisusira rephrases the same old arguments in classic musical fashion.

WoW Moviewatch: Hard like heroic
Today's MovieWatch features another silly piece by Nyhm of Can't Pug KZ and (more recently) Death Knight Spree fame. I'm also sure many will be glad to hear this; Summergale is back helping her favorite Blood Elf Warlock out in this video too. Be advised the video is one great big sexual reference, and therefore is extremely mildly NSFW. But there again, we know you're not wasting time at work, right?

WoW Moviewatch: Moonkin vs. Prince
This is hardly the only Moonkin tank (Panzerkin?) video you'll find on YouTube, but this video of a Moonkin tanking Prince Malchezaar strikes me as one of the best done, complete with strategy tips. As a healer, however, I have to wonder about this strategy -- with sufficient gear (i.e.: outgearing the content), good enough healing, and a raid group disciplined enough to manage their aggro, you could probably get by any class tanking. But that doesn't mean any class ought to tank. What do you all think: is a Panzerkin a viable way to tank, or is it just for novelty value?
