Roll up your note and wrap your elastic string around the center. Leave enough room to tie the ends and cut the remainder off. Cut the ribbon to about 2-3 inches long and cut an upside-down "V" into the bottom. You can carefully light the edges of the ribbon to keep it from fraying. Fold over the top of the ribbon about 1/4". Cut a tiny slit into the center. Slide the elastic string through the slit and tie. Cut off the ends of the knot so that it's as short as possible.
