Around Azeroth: Work in progress
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards.

This is Mount Hyjal, formerly accessible through some clever wallwalking at the bottom of Darkwhisper Gorge. The sign was available for viewing at the centre of the whole shebang, where the wreckage of the Tree still stands.

Agree, this is old MH, got the ss myself, not ZA zone. :)

Appoligies to those who were offended at my switching what should have been 'MH' for 'ZA'.
It really was an innocent mistake. Not wanting to be called a liar & also to have Wowinsider staff taking bad mouthingfrom over the top ppl. I decided to set the record straight.

I think this picture isn't Zul'Aman, it's uninstanced Hyjal. This road leads to the sealed Darkwhisper Gorge gate.

As Pucelle stated, this not a "Forbidden Zone in Zul'Aman" this is Mount Hyjal, & you used to be able to access it via Darkwhisper Gorge.
Shame it's no longer accessable but i've still got my screenshots XD

speaking of this patch thanks blizz, my Gruul's pug finsished it in 20-25mins. Running raids now with the reduced health is ridiculous. high king maulgar went down before the caster next to him did lol.

Well they're meant to be played by level 70 players with "not so epic" gear... as the new cap is 80. Playing them now is like playing low level instances :P

@rugus -- I believe he was talking about the Echos of Doom patch. People seem to have a hard time with this, but NEITHER NORTHREND NOR LEVEL 80 WAS RELEASED IN THE PATCH. They only comment there that may even be remotely true is the 'not-so-epic' gear, but as he said it was a pug, there is a greater than normal chance of a 'not-so-epic' geared player...

"Will anything ever be as cool as paladin Tier 2? I don't think so."

The original idea (art concept only) for Paladin T5 looked cooler than T2 if you ask me.

I used to go to Old Hyjal pre BC (and teleporting a whole 40 raid there, lock ftw :p), but I don't remember there were 2 signs, only one - I should check my screenshot... but I might just become too old... with some memory problems...

Someone on WoWInsider says something unresearched and dumb. In other news, the sky is blue. Does that even LOOK like ANYTHING out of Zul'Aman? Really?

So, what you're saying is that you've never in your life made a typographical error, or accidentally swapped place names in your memory.
So because you're perfect, you believe everyone else is an infidel and deserves your literary wrath.
Yawn...

This isn't the staff's fault. The guy who submitted it lied about taking it himself and doesn't know about Hyjal. If the staff has never been there either, how the hell would they know the guy was lying?
Chill out already.

Actually, Tom, I've been to Mount Hyjal uninstanced as well and agree that this is what is shown. However, the submitter specifically stated this was ZA, so I went with that.

"Zul'Aman" and "prior to Burning Crusade" in the same sentence should have triggered some warning bells, really.

Yay, Oblivion!
I've been playing that a lot while waiting for Wrath. Other than WAR, which really isn't doing it for me.
Um... yay, Oblivion!
