WoW Moviewatch: Wish upon a Gnome, Episode 1
Wish upon a Gnome, Episode 1, is the first of three episodes centering around a wee gnome that stumbles upon a Genie that grants him three wishes. His first wish finds him craving the power he feels is long overdue. However, as he soon discovers, not everything goes as planned. Given how disastrous his newfound fame and glory turns out, I can't wait to see what he asks for in the next two episodes!
Mushanga may just be the dark horse of the WeGame machinima contest. With only two unremarkable contest submissions prior to this entry, this is the first time he's involved voice actors, including Caruu and Jesse Cox, in his work. I found myself drawn into the story and rooting for the little guy, despite his flaws. If you get the chance, check out the higher quality versions of WuaG and give him some constructive feedback!

This spunky machinima was pretty entertaining. It starts out on a good note (who DOESN'T like to see a good gnome punting?), and the story progresses smoothly from there. Just when you think it's about to turn stale, it throws a curve ball joke at you. "Wish Upon a Gnome" doesn't seem to take itself to seriously, and I like that.
The visual and audio effects are both well executed too. The custom graphics are seamlessly integrated into the scenes, and the voice acting seems right and natural for the characters. However, I feel that some of the scene changes/cuts could use a little work. A couple of transitions are merely a 2 second cut to black, and they seem a little abrupt. Aside for those issues, I can speak no wrong about the movie.

Huh, I wrote more then whats in the comment above >.>
What I said was, take your time in creating a true masterpiece. You dont have the shackles from the Wegame contest anymore (the 1 month time limit).
Again, GJ!

I enjoyed the vid quite a lot. The title bugs me, as he's not necessarily wishing UPON a gnome. But it also bugs me when people don't know the difference between "your" and "you're," or "there" and "their." All that aside, keep making machinima and I'll keep watching them.
