Death Knights receive unique voices

The fine folk over at DeathKnight.info have posted a video of the unique Death Knight voices we've all been promised. They don't have an entirely new set of voice emotes (at least not yet), they took a slightly different route. There's actually a sound filter over the voices, making them sound echoey and spooky. The females have been described as sounding like banshees, which is pretty accurate I think. If you're not a fan of the voice effects, you're allowed to turn them off in your Sound control panel so you won't have to hear it. Other people still will, unless they do the same.
I'm definitely a fan of this for most of the race/gender combos. Some of them are lackluster (in my opinion) such as the Female Dwarves. The best? Male Blood Elf by far. That laugh? Awesome. Just awesome. I'm sure we'll see a couple of tweaks to this before the end of the beta period, but they're definitely on the right track, I think.

Not too bad... for the females. Agree with the whole "banshee" opinion. Gnome giggle is creepy.
Men could use some work... they sound like they're in a well.

Also, the Forsaken normally have that "echo" effect, so for them, it seems unchanged.

Agreed. The Female Gnome laugh is deliciously evil while the Male Gnome cry is one of the most horrific things I've ever heard.
Can't wait to have Giggleknight the Gnome pwning face.

Yeah, sure. Give Death Knights EVEN MORE cool stuff. It's not like they're going to comprise over half the playerbase already.
Jesus, am I the only one who thinks it's dead unfair that DKs are getting all this special treatment? Giefv Shaman tattoos, or cuts and bruises for my Warrior. Hell, give me Warrior a fighting voice!

Wow. How exciting. They added some effects to the voices that were already in-game. I guess I can understand it though. What with Blizzard being a small, indie company. They couldn't possibly hire people to record new, more suitable voices for their brand new Hero class.
Totally disappointing. Blizz could do so much better than this. It probably took all of five minutes to figure out the combination of effects to apply to a voice, then ran it as a big batch on all the voice files. So maybe a couple hours of work. Way to really put forth an effort Blizz. Way to go.

Agree with you, Swoon. My thoughts exactly.
What it would be amazing is BRAND NEW VOICES for the DK, not the same old ones just with an "echo" effect...
