You really have to give Dipex, of Goon Squad on Mal'Ganis, credit. After he irritated tens of thousands with his first cliff jumping video, Blizzard closed up his way to do it. He recently discovered another and his airline has been successful ever since! My favorite part of this is how many people took his forum post seriously and commented blindly without viewing the video.
Of course, Dipex and Goon Squad are no strangers to trouble. Most recently, we covered their efforts to reunite Thrall and Jaina. Some of their other pranks involved kidnapping a flightmaster and blowing up Ironforge. This might explain why I keep seeing members of an anti-GS guild running around Mal'Ganis, where my newly formed feral druid, Moowi, just started. Yes, I play World of Warcraft now! Shocking, isn't it?

Nothing new really, people on my realm have been doing this since a few months now, it's harder for them to find victims too, since all now know about it.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited about it. I came back through Refer a Friend, so this officially makes my third account. Two on US and one on EU.
Also, you make me crave cookies now. Austin has a cookie delivery service. No joke! http://cookiedelivery.com

He made a video of him summoning people to their deaths via cliff. Instead of just saying that, he posted a thread on the official WoW forums pretending to be what he felt was the greatest warlock ever. Instead of actually watching the video to see what it was, they all rushed in to tell him how much he sucked. Good times were had by all!

Old lame trick. Yes by all means bring this up again to make the Goon Squad idiot feel good with himself and to waste our time with regurgitated news.

I don't see anyone else submitting their videos of it. This is an updated version of one we blogged about a while back. Also, as a goon (not in GS), I find it funny.

Funny- but I prefer Caultok's Art of Warlocking series for malicious tricks warlocks can perform.
For example, he asks in general chat in Nagrand if anyone wants to help kill a "rare elite". People flood him with whispers and he summons them up onto a floating island. When the summoned person arrives there, a warlock from the opposing faction on a nearby island dots him up causing them to die up on the island or jump off the side to their death.
Evil. Very evil.

There is one other feat they have accomplished, they were the only Horde guild to take down Thrall. They found a low level quest that made any horde player hostile to Orgrimmar for a half hour. After that, Blizzard changed the quest to prevent it from happening again.

As someone who has played a warlock - you'd understand why people would do this.
I can't log on and go anywhere without noobs asking for summons places (stv is a big favorite - twinks wanting help with the fishing quest - I really hate twinks so I summon them into a cluster of mobs). So you yes you could totally do this again and again these days.
Its not like these guys go trolling around for people to summon - they probably asked him to do it and he filmed the results.
