Death Knight solos Onyxia
Still, Scarblade was a trooper and went through the whole ridiculous attunement process. He says he tried both Frost and Blood specs before ultimately settling on an Unholy build that won the day for him. Personally, I expected this kill to have been done using a deep Blood talent spec with how well they solo. I suppose Onyxia isn't the same as your random elite thug hanging out in the middle of a field somewhere, so it makes sense that what works there might not be best in Ony's Lair. Unholy does make sense though, controlling those whelps can make or break an Onyxia attempt no matter how many people you take with you. Unholy Blight is a beautiful thing.
Yes, Scarblade did earn an Achievement for killing the ol' gal. Two, actually. One for just plain killing her, and one for killing her solo.

Once your paladin turns 70? Try 80, this was a Death Knight at level 80 who had to fine the right spec twice. So yeah, just wait for 80, lol.

Why did you buy tickets if you can't even go? Again two tickets to waste (or to Ebay probably). Good going :-(

no theres an achievement for killing onyxia :P
and furthermore its somewhat logical to go with unholy, u get an extra disease that means u get more hp returned from ur death strikes, which in turn makes it easier to stay alive :P

Wow, I'm surprised it was Unholy build that did this. I've had more luck soloing with Frost than Unholy.
Still pretty cool...

Pretty awesome!
Slightly offtopic, does anyone know what band/song that is in the beginning of the video? It sounds pretty drum 'n bass-like.

Uhm... maybe it's just me but what UImod does he have up for the Deathnights Runes?! Cause that is pritty tight! Couple that with the UImod that brings in yours and your targets helth/mana into a circle around your char and you have a pritty nice setup to begin tankin..err killing in Wrath...

Pretty sure that's MiK scrolling battle text. You can get it at curse (and probably elsewhere).

Uhm... maybe it's just me thats curious, but what is the UI mod he is using for his Deathnight Rune cooldowns? Because that is pritty handy! Couple that with the UImod that brings in yours and your targets heath/mana into a circle around your character and you have a nice setup to begin Wrath with!
