Warriors gain super buffed Titan's Grip and passive Mortal Strike
Have you ever wondered what the collective sound of every warrior's jaw dropping to the floor is like? Tonight you can experience it first hand by logging into vent and listening to them as they read about the latest changes in the beta. The highlights:
- Heroic leap has moved from Tier 11 to Tier 9. You now can get it at level 50.
- Titan's Grip is now a Tier 11, instead of Tier 10.
- Titan's Grip is now only 1 rank, and does not have any speed penalty.
- Furious Attack – New Tier 8 fury talent. Normal melee attacks have a 50%/100% to reduce healing done to a target by 25% for 8 seconds. Stack up to 2 times.
- Shield Mastery in the protection tree increases block value by up to 30%.
More analysis on all this later. Stay tuned. Lots of great changes coming out tonight!

Remember, this is beta. There's no way it's going to remain this powerful. Enjoy it while you can. I am glad to see it buffed since it was worthless before, but honestly it was a ridiculous idea to begin with to allow warriors to dual wield 2Hs.

that furious attack has got to be removed. it is so OP you wonder who is the dev who ok'd it? it kills arms tree and is way too easy to apply and will stay at 50% indefinately. its a joke.

The Titans Grip change is obviously a major buff to PvE for fury wars, but it will be an absolute nightmare for all clothies in PvP. As i play z few different Cloth classes, Im gonna go ahead and say, this is a bit much on the PvP side of things. But therein lies the problem. WoW, for better or worse, is really 2 games in one with different considerations (PvE & PvP). How can you buff/nerf one aspect without having a considerable effect on the other. Honestly, im not sure you can. The only option then is a constant movement back and forth between classes. They must all have their moments in the sun and the shade.

Fury is the new Arms for PvP?
One small request - instead of saying "Tier x" could you use "x point talent"? I find its a lot easier to understand "Titan's Grip is now the 51 point Fury Talent" than "is now Tier 11".

yes we did, in the beta we did more damage with out TG than we did with it and had no real improvement from tbc.

Damage isn't the issue here. Arms was the PvP tree for one reason, and it wasn't damage. Now Fury warriors are getting it basically for free, along with sick crazy damage dual wielding. The Arms tree is officially dead now, and warriors just became the undisputed kings of PvP. Druids will be squishy when these guys show up, and the other classes will be grease stains.

Heilig, warriors already are the kings of PvP. Melee classes > spellcasters according to Blizz, remember?
