WoW Moviewatch: Argent Crusade Salvation
His latest story centers around Tirion Fordring overhauling the Silver Hand. He uses a voiceover by Caruu, as Fordring, to act almost as a transmission. Tirion voices his doubts about winning the war as the battle is waged on screen.

Looks really good, the only thing is wish these epic machinamas would get finished. it seems like the ones that are going to be really long never appear after the teaser of them.

True. This will never go beyond this. I mostly made it because I loved the Terminator trailer... and of course, WoW.

Agreed. "The Silver Hand will become a Fist". Epic win.
Dammit, I wanna start a pally-centric guild called "The Silver Fist" now...

That would make an awesome Title, actually. Maybe with some slightly different word choice.
"Ametrine, Mailed Fist of the Light"
"Ametrine, Silver Fist of the North"

Nice teaser. Should be very good when the whole thing comes out.

I don't think there will be a "whole thing," unfortunately. The author just posted above saying that the trailer "won't go beyond this."
That's a shame, too. Gnomechewer, this would be a terrific project.

well i was going to say the video fx were just to much but since you were going for a parody ill just ignore it.
however i do need to say your sound quality sucks. so bad infact it destroys what good the video has.
scrape up a few dollars and get a cheap studio condenser mic with a shock mount and pop filter like this...
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/MXL-MXL-990-Condenser-Microphone-with-Shockmount?sku=273156
also needed is a computer interface for the mic. i would reccoment this as it is fairly cheap, has built in effects and compression as well as phantom power for the mic, seperate headphone output and volume knobs and a really nice sound quality (for 2 channel sound it will blow away any soundcard on the market)...
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-TonePort-UX2-USB-RecordingModeling-Interface?sku=249701
you can have all the best gear in the world and still not have a clue how to use it. here is a starting point...
http://library.creativecow.net/articles/fisher_jeffrey/recording_voiceovers.php
just google recording voiceovers and pick from the bunch. most importantly learning to properly use compression. its crucial for that polished sound.
people that love to make videos often neglect the sound. if you mute your video and its really cool, turn the sound on and its distracting. thats not good :)

theres always that one what?
the ones that spend time creating a helpfull post with links to hardware and guides on how to better the craft?
or the ones that ignore all the helpfull and positive content and just blindly (and stupidly) see "your sound quality sucks" and decide to make a knee jerk comment like "There's always that one, isn't there?"
yea, i guess there's always is that one, isn't there!
dear moo,

It was going great until he called Tirion Fordring, Trion Fordring. Anyone else hear that, or am I being too picky?

Actually, as soon as he said that i had to go back and see if he really did say Trion. Very off-putting.

about halfway through i realized the connection between this and terminator ("in this future, I'm not sure if we can win this war" clinched it for me....yes i can be dense but i had a long day at work....im sticking with my excuses dammit) generally gnomechewers work is hit or miss with me, this one was one of the ones i liked (though the trion/tirion thing is a bit meh)
anyway, nicely done gnomechewer, keep it up :D
