Warcraft Orc art on European ghost train ride
Of course, while non-Warcraft players would probably see a sign like that and think it's gross or scary, we know the truth: Thrall's a loveable badass. He's the guy you elected the supreme leader of Azeroth by a huge margin, so using him on a ride that's supposed to be scary kind of defeats the purpose. While most might leave that ride screaming in fear, we'll probably just leave it screaming, "For the Horde!"
Update: I'm told that the art is not of Thrall but is instead Grom, something that has shaken me to the very foundations of the day I first bought Warcraft III. I always thought it was Thrall on the box cover. Oh well.
Also, I apologize to Paul, our French readers, and the gypsies of the European continent. Paul didn't say where he saw this ride, and my overactive imagination pushed me to envision a traveling gypsy camp somewhere in the wilds of France. I meant no offense -- in fact, even though I'm a lifelong American (Midwestern, even), I feel a kinship with the traveling gypsies of the old country. That's probably why I thought it was them.

Why do you think that's Thrall, that Orc has a nose ring and yellowish/brown eyes. Thrall doesn't have a nose ring and his eyes are blue, which in Orcish superstition means he's destined for great things. Seems that Orc superstitions are better than real life ones. hehe

I taught English for a little while in Eastern Europe, and this sort of thing does not surprise me at all.
For some reason, their equivelant of carnies seem to be blissfully ignorant of international copyright law when it comes to painting their rides. I have fond memories of riding the mildly-distorted Michael Jackson tilt-a-whirl and vomitting on the Britney Spears Gravitron while attending a wine festival outside of Prague.
I stole a flyer with Arthas promoting a straight-edge hardcore band. Wouldn't he be more into death metal? ;)
Anyway, it's only a matter of time before we see an Eastern European strip club sponsored by Night Elves.

No, but willful ignorance to America(ns) is a very largely accepted practice, worldwide.

And because of you, Blizzard lawyers are now scouring France looking at all the gypsy festivals!!
Great job, guys! I'll hope the festival moved over the border to Switzerland while the Blizz goons are looking in France...

Are you accusing Schramm of favoring the Alliance? You're mad...and incorrect. I can assure you he is very much pro Horde. The Horde, however, don't seem to employ many lvl 68 Orcish Fact Checkers, and this orc, as depicted on one of the alternate box covers for Warcraft III, is in fact not Thrall.

I totally thought it was Thrall! Thrall was the hero of Warcraft III, and that was the orc on the front of the box -- I totally thought it was Thrall the whole time.
My bad. I'll be in the Lore Corner taking my timeout.

Gipsy ? it's not necessarily gipsy running rides in France.
but it's true "ride" near towns, often use plain crazy whatever artistic stuff you can't believe it's official.

I might be careful throwing around terms like "gypsy country" on a site like this... I'm pretty sure it's an offensive term.

It is indeed... "gypsy" is derogatory and usually refers to the Roma, a nomadic ethnic group that is primarily of Indian or Slavic descent.

I once saw Arthas on a police-gun toy set in a dollar store last summer. Me and my friend had a good laugh at it.

What? Embiggen is a perfectly cromulent word.
