Name: Star's Tears (Thottbot, Wowhead)
Type: Common Consumable
Damage/Speed: N/A
Abilities:
- Requires level 65. On drinking, restores 7200 mana over 30 seconds. Which isn't that great -- you can get this water from any Mage, right?
- But this water doesn't come from a Mage, and that's what's so special about it. It's the cheapest vendor water you can buy -- just 25s and two (that's right, two) Honor points per 5, in stacks of 20. Just one BG will earn you enough to not worry about the Honor points, and overall, you'll save money (probably even cheaper than that Mage you're tipping every time you log in) every time you buy it.
- And, as Arena players all know, this is the only non-Mage water usable in the Arenas. As the tooltip says, it's "carefully extracted for warfare use," so Arena players who can duck out of combat (Hunters, for example, can Feign Death out of combat and drink) can get back some mana fast even without a Mage in the group.
- Plus, as all Warcraft players (and bloggers) know, tears are the tastiest drink of all. Mmmmm tears. QQ moar pls.
Getting Rid of It: You could, um, drink it? Otherwise, you can sell it back to the vendor for 1s 25c, which is suprising -- these are the tears of stars, people! Famous people cried their eyes out just so you could have these!

jeeze, thanks for making me feel like a noob, Mike. I've been running out of mana for several seasons not knowing I could have just bought this stuff for my hunter.
I'll add this article to the list of "reasons why I'm a better player for reading WoWinsider".

Waste of money, waste of honor. Any mage who won't give you free water whenever you ask is a jerk. Any mage who asks for a tip is a jerk. Anyone who voluntarily tips a mage more than twice the value of the reagents involved for any spell is just perpetuating the cycle of jerkiness.
Yes, I am a mage.

Also, conjured water will disappear when you enter an arena.

Conjured items are deleted when you enter the arena, meaning you actually need a mage on your team to drink in there, unless you have these.

So, Saelorn, you and mages like you should be thanked. I was leveling in Hellfire, on my huntard, and ran out of water - a passing mage asked why I was sitting so long between kills and then made me some water... and wouldn't take a tip.
I also play a priest - and I try to buff people as we pass - i even try to get their pets. I don't do it for a tip, but I like to get a buff-return from druids or mages...

To get rid of it, in addition to well, drinking it, or vendoring it, it's not soulbound, so you can make a gift of it to your arena partners, and you can auction it for sometimes 2 or 3 gold per 20, since there are more cities with AH's than with officers' accessories vendors you may well see brisk sales, and thus it's really the only way to turn honor into gold.

I even have a resto druid and think this shouldnt be allowed to be used in arena. Its dosent take any "skill" to run away from somone and hide behind a pillar to drink, makes arena a lot loner than it should be. Its nore skill to heal and try to save as much mana as you can.

As a fellow resto druid I too think this item is complete BS. Just last week my rogue 2v2 teammate and I were in a 29 MINUTE 2v2 match against a warlock and resto druid. It was 29 minutes of the other resto druid and I running around and drinking. Blizzard has no idea what they're doing with this game. These is no reason to allow players to exit combat IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT TO THE DEATH so they can sit down to a cup of tea and biscuits.
