- Constant Time Display: You no longer have to pass your mouse over the sun or moon icon on your minimap to see the time. The server time is now automatically displayed at the bottom of the minimap.
- Alarm: An alarm can now be set, complete with a custom message.
- Computer Time Display: You now have the option of showing your local computer time rather than the server time on your minimap.
- Stopwatch: Accessed either in the new clock interface or by a keyboard command, there is now an in-game stopwatch for your timing needs.
In order to access the new Clock UI, just click on the Sun or Moon icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen. There you have the option to display and set the stopwatch, set the alarm clock, enter your custom alarm message and determine which time to display on your minimap. Most of this is pretty straightforward, but here are a few tips.
Alarm Clock- Pressing the "Alarm Disabled" button will enable the Alarm and vice versa.
- When the alarm clock goes off, your message is displayed and a sound is played to let you know that your time is up.
- Your time will blink until you click it.
- The Stopwatch works exactly like a regular stopwatch. You can use it to countdown your time as well as time whatever you are doing.
- You press the play button to start, the pause button to pause (Captain Obvious to the rescue!) and the circle button to reset.
- You can only set the stopwatch for counting down by using keyboard commands: /stopwatch or /sw. For example, /sw 1:30:0 will countdown for an hour and thirty minutes.
- In order to have the stopwatch countdown, you need to press the playbutton after setting the time.
- When the stopwatch has counted down, it plays a ding sound.
- If you pass your mouse over the minimap time display, it will show you both your local time and the realm time.

I feel like a countdown stop watch would revolutionize my grinding. I love making a game out of stuff like that, try to kill 10 guys in 4 minutes for example.
At work when I am doing monotonous computer work I put on "Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness" by Rhapsody and see how much I can get done before the finale epic cannon blast at the end of the 19-minute-long song. I get more done listening to that one song than I do for the rest of the day.

Wow, I've read the patch notes a few times and I still missed this feature each time. That's kind of nice.

In all honesty, I like that I have alot of options in which addon I use to adjust my button bars. Some people swear by bongos, I personally use bartender 3. I love bartender, and don't really want to have to switch to a Bongos equivalent. I'm sure that there are others out there that feel that the addon they use for their particular button bars is better then those 2. I've even heard that button bars, for the really good players, is actually a thing of the past. Unfortunately for me, I'll never be good enough to play it on the keyboard. Especially since I use the basic Laptop Keyboard. Threat Meter? I use Omen, some people swear by KLH. Once again, this way, there is choice. If Blizzard starts doing Threatmeters, then there will be Blizzards threatmeter, and nobody elses. The MINOR addons are the things like the Number of free spaces in your bag, or the clock, those are addons that are no longer required to be tying up addon space, which, correct me if I am wrong, being added into the basic fabric of the program, and not a memory intensive addon, makes everything run just a tad smoother.

If they are going to add this then it really needs timezone support. It is a pain that the current in-game clock can't be adjusted for daylight saving time so is often an hour long. Too many times I have played for an hour longer than planned!

Ooooooh. Last night I tried to check the time by mousing over the moon, and was furious that it didn't work, and that while I could set up an alarm clock, it looked like they'd totally removed the in-game time clock.
Turns out my forest of add-on config buttons was covering the bottom of my mini-map I couldn't see the clock.
