Here's an interesting question: what's the most morally evil quest in the game? There was a quick discussion about the Stanley the Dog quest in Hillsbrad (where you poison and then kill a neutral dog), and it got me thinking: are there any quests in game where you really had a problem with what your character was doing? What's the most evil thing your character has done?Of course, the definition of evil in this case isn't quite written in stone -- what your character thinks is OK to do may not be what you think is OK to do. My undead Rogue took a lot of pleasure in killing Stanley, even if I would be horrified to hear about someone doing the same thing in real life. But in the same vein, while I was fully convinced in character that setting off that Mana Bomb in Outland was the right thing for my character to do, personally, I thought the kill count was a little shocking. At what point does my hero become a mass murderer?
A few other WoW Insider writers mentioned the Cenarius' Legacy and the other Undead Plague quests to be a little too evil for their tastes. Are there any other quests in the game where your character is asked to do something morally questionable?

I can't come up with any specific quest at the present moment, but there most be some "evil " ones out there.
But I do know that I always feel a little guilty about killing slaves in Coilfang. The poor Broken have been slaves of the evil Naga. Most of the times, we kill the Nagas and let the slaves run away in happiness. But sometimes... we actually kill the slaves, too And the weirdest thing is that you get CE rep. from doing it.
But of course, sometimes the slaves keep kasting their Frostbolts even after the Naga are dead... So maybe there's no reason to feel so guilty after all.

I always just assumed the slaves suffered from Stockholm Syndrome.

How is poisoning a dog any more evil than the countless heads and hearts I've cut out of enemies?

For the amount of people I found there living without skulls, I feel I was merely doing my duty removing these freaks from Azeroth's gene pool.

Yep, that was pretty evil. Not to mention the fact you're skinning flesh off of them to deliver them.
As for zombie_bomb comment: I think the mentality is if a mob you kill is without a vital organ or piece, it got too damaged in battle to turn in for reward. So quit slicing your enemies in half. :D

Booterang isn't evil, it's hilarious! :P
To me the most evil quests (vile is probably a better word in this case) are the two that have you digging through piles of dung...

I have to agree with Kaizen :)
The most evil quest I remember is Blessing of Incineratus (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9805).
Typically evil racist drivel against a bunch of harmless Broken living in some poor huts, barely eking out a living in the mountains of eastern Nagrand, followed by a command to burn them out of hearth and home. Not to mention you usually are forced to kill a few on the way.
I hated myself for doing this quest... but I just couldn't resist the sooo easy XP ;)

They're Lost, Elementalist Lo'ap is Broken. "They have became violent and unpredictable, even toward their own kind."
Not that it's their fault, of course, so maybe..

Well the Hunter Mastery ones are a bit dodgey if you don't believe in hunting for pleasure.

The only saving grace that keeps this too evil is the tigers and raptors drop meat you can cook and if you're a skinner, you can get leather from them.
