What is it with your Soosdon addiction? His music videos show a skill, that much is granted, but this video won't come close to, say, My Life For The Horde or other things that have been done years ago.
Soosdon films his flicks on private servers. That's something others get banned for, not entered into a WWI contest. He modifies game files. Again, that's something others get banned for.
Those who, like Bannerman/Seemos, decide to not violate the TOS they signed, are at a disadvantage for not having the same control over game actions, NPC armies, and looks. Not to mention, no access to giving warglaives for a quick handing to someone to film a movie.

He makes new videos and I post them. This one is also a departure from the music videos he usually makes. There's a handful of people that just always come out with amazing videos. Not my fault they're so awesome. I don't see you complaining about Gnomechewer.
Maybe you should start a machinima blog!!!1111oneone

Boohoo. I'll shed a tear for you.
What's to stop this Bannerman guy for like, setting one up OR - even better - doing the entire army with model viewer? (I do remember his movies, otherwise OK but the horrible voice acting made them quite "meh").
Disadvantage my ass! I bet a person with skill, vision and most importantly TIME can create a really kick-ass epic big-scale battle scene even without uttering out the words private server.
I have an enormous respect towards the people who are up to creating something on the live servers.
See Unstunted 2 for example - THAT is true skill. The guy who made that used 3D rendering to create the movie - that puts almost every WoW machinimaker into shame and disadvantage.
Just to clarify: this entry did not get qualified to the WWI contest for obvious reasons.
Shit happens and now onto the next movie :)

Post your proof, otherwise it's just a mindless rumor.

@ 5: Proof? What proof? And what mindless rumor?
If you mean a large scale battle, see Tales Of The Past III.

she is originally a high elf, thus being more attuned to the arcane, that being said, I always felt that since she was a hero in WC3 (dark archer, and before that form she was a more durable and capable banshee than the normal ones) she may have skills that normal banshees would have, even crossing into the skills of the death knight (the army of scarlet undead was a nice touch in my opinion)
above all though....since sylvanas never leaves undercity (heck...even around holloween its just an image of her seen at the burning of the wickerman...even though its right outside) i doubt the story told in this video can be seen as canon....cool...but not canon ;)

this is one of his worser ones. the movie was WAY too dark, I should not have to turn up the brightness\contrast of my monitor to watch some youtube video.
Overall the video was pretty boring too :/

Much of this could be possible on a live server, imo. Take a night elf hunter in lowbie cloth gear (any dark color hood + maybe that robe from Shadowfang Keep) that has the Illidan bow and a sword enchanted with +dmg. The undead handing her the bow could just be an undead warrior or rogue with the same bow since it is not a hunter specific bow. The undead army can just be a bunch of lowbies. Hunter soloes Cathedral. Too bad Whitemane is probably not mind-controllable.

This . . . got a resounding "meh" from me. Compared to other videos with combat, this one is rather . . . boring. Sylvannus hits people, and they die. That's about it. The special effects are limited to a simple channeling spell and some kind of fire AoE. It really didn't pull me into the action, in part because it was a total massacre - You have to keep the kill count going at a faster pace, and provide at least one or two baddies that take a little more work to finish off. Not only does the Scarlet Crusade offer no resistance against a lone Forsaken, Sylvannas takes too long to jump from one kill to the next to really engage you, nor do the attacks really change up all that much to give a sense of flow until towards the end. Sylvannas fires her bow, Sylvannus swings her glaive, fires her bow, swings her glaive a few more times . . . I know a lot of swordplay is going to involve a sword, but if you're going to put a focus on action, you need to keep the animations varied enough to make the swordplay itself interesting.
And as for story . . . . Sylvannas massacres the Scarlet Crusade. It's a plot in the barest sense, more like the introduction to something with a more evocative storyline. There is not even any building tension, and only one major change in the storyline, where she starts turning dead Scarlet Crusaders into mindless zombies. The Scarlet Crusade are also a boring army - they line up to be killed in pretty little formations, and their leaders die off even faster than their grunts.
Sorry, great editing as always from Soosdon, but if he's going to try some story and action, perhaps he should get in cahoots with others instead. The visual didn't draw me in the way it normally does with his videos, and the story was almost nonexistent.

So, it's just showing that Sylvannas is no different than the Lich King.
And people wonder why the Forsaken are universally mistrusted.

The TOS?

I'd love to hear you voice-act one.

Blizzard entertainment, for purposes of machinima, explicitly allows the use of "video images, footage, music, sounds, speech, or other assets from its copyrighted products, including "World of Warcraft"." There are, of course, restrictions, but these are legal restrictions relating to their copyright of those materials. You can see more detail on their open letter to the machinima community.
The TOS(Terms of 'service') is an entirely separate matter that is only effective within the scope of a person, with an account, playing their game. It covers the wow service.
When Blizzard announced the WWI contest, they used a picture from a Baron Soosdon movie that featured significant and blatant private server use, as well as model editing.
Anyway, I'd just also note that those abilities are pretty much what Sylvanas does; shoots arrows, throws energy, and raises corpses.
