The Nexus added to the official Wrath page

A little earlier today, Blizzard has made a new addition to the official
Wrath of the Lich King site. They've added
The Nexus to the dungeons listing!
The Nexus seems to be made up of three wings. The Nexus and The Oculus will be 5 man dungeons, and there will also be a 10 and 25 man raid zone that seems to be currently unnamed. It, most likely, houses
Malygos himself.
The description of the zone gives a little more insight into the situation between Malygos and the Kirin Tor, and tells us of something called the Arcanomicon. It is a map of Azeroth's ley lines, which the Blue Dragonflight is using to redirect magic away from those he believes are abusing it. The Nexus will be found in the Borean Tundra, one of the first zones in
Wrath of the Lich King. I expect one of the five mans will accompany one of Utgarde Keep's wings as the 'first' dungeons of
Wrath.

Looks like that's the most surreal place on Northrend.
and thats a good thing, I'm done with the space thing and I hate playing my Paladin because he's in eye-bleeding ugly Hellfire Peninsula so he's stuck on 61 for ages now.

What Blizz showed us of Nexus looks incredibly beautiful. Another little thing of many to wait for WotLK for.

Blizzard's process of creating "original names" for NPC's and Locations must have had a severe budget cut ...
So far, like finger nails on a chalk board, we have had Floyd Pinkus, Haris Pilton (among many others) and now we're graced with the Arcanomicon.
H. P. Lovecraft anyone? (Necronomicon)
I imagine the "naming department" as a room with a cardboard-box fort with a pair of monkeys with pens writing on the walls.

Perhaps you have missed that there are tonns of references to movies, books, games, popular culture and probably a few other things throughout the game, and has been like that from the very start. Linken's Sword was not intended to be an original name, it was supposed to be a reference and/or tribute. Same with the rest, like Haris Pilton.
I personally enjoy it, even though some of the references get a bit too much sometimes. But no matter if you like it or not, they are likely to continue making references/tributes.

The interior in the video kinda reminds me of the Libraries, and the general interiors to Forerunner structures, in the Halo games. Vast, with semi-holographical displays hovering around. I am surprised to see Summoners with Fel hounds though. Seems like a Dragonflight Aspect wouldn't touch demons with a 10 foot pole.

The WoW page explicitly stated The Nexus is for 71-73 lvl range players, and The Oculus is 80 lvl.

I wonder what legendary Warcraft character we'll meet chopping logs when we enter the Nexus.
