M'uru world first by SK-Gaming
You can see the loot above -- click to embiggen. That Shifting Naaru Sliver sounds fun.

Surprising that it wasn't, since they've pretty-much done all the others.

Yeah, if by 'pretty-much done all the others' you mean only 1 out of the first 5 bosses in SWP. Real surprising...

Who says it has to be a PvE ring? It has been done before in SSC on rings so why not now.

The real question is now how they did it but how long they camped out in front of the gate waiting for it to open and making sure that everyone was geared to 99.99% of the raid leader's view of perfection.

Sounds like someone isn't getting the raid time they think they deserve because of questionable gear and/or spec choices.

I don't get excited by ring/trinket drops. Sure, they're nice ... but they don't glitter and gleam on your toon. When you're strolling through town, people can't see what rings you have on, but they can see when you have a ten-foot long sword that is being encircled by flaming dragons.
But hey, a world first is cool.

3 rings and a trinket? What strange loot.

Not that surprising, since this is probably just a small sample of the loot table. FLK once dropped 3 Leggings of The Defender...
They probably forgot to sacrifice some gnomes to the Random Number God.

They got world 2nd on the Eredar Twins, so if anyone other than Nihilum was going to get the next 1st in Sunwell, you could well expect them to be SK. Gz to them!!

Gratz to SK-Gaming. =D
I think that any top guild (as in the top 20 or so) has a very high chance at a world first if they just put in the absurd amount of time into raiding that Nihilum does when a new boss comes out.
How much difference in skill can there REALLY be between Nihilum and the other top guilds? Clearly it's the fact that Nihilum put in 12+ hours a day on new bosses that allow them to keep churning out world firsts.
Who knows who will get the Kil'jaeden world first? Could be Nihilum or SK-Gaming. Both are gonna be raiding hardcore, and I guess it's gonna be whoever spends the most time on it.
