Blizzard asks: Have Arena wait times improved?

Back in February,
Bornakk promised Arena queue improvements in
Patch 2.4. Now that 2.4 has been here for a few weeks,
Drysc is asking for feedback on the wait times.
According to Drysc, Blizzard has been making changes continually since releasing 2.4 in order reduce the wait times. He asks that you leave feedback
in his post on the forums if you have played in the Arena within the last week.
Reading through, the feedback is all positive. Well, mostly.
Poe jokes that the queue times are too quick now and would like a couple minutes to do a round of mining in Nagrand. Otherwise, everyone agrees that the queue times are now just a few seconds as opposed to several minutes. The only real negative comments are about how they would like Blizzard to crack down on
Win Trading.
I am happy that Blizzard is soliciting feedback to find out what is really happening in the game. Do you think the Arena wait times have decreased?

I like when Blizzard's support staff commits to little things like this. It's a sign of real interest in the community.

How about focusing on real issues within the game Blizzard, you know, the issues that affect more than .05% of the population?

Last I checked, more than 0.05% of the players in the game have stepped foot in the Arenas. Now, if we were talking about fixing a broken reset timer after wipes on Twin Eredar (not an actual problem that I'm aware of), then maybe you would have a point.

I hope Blizzard will ask this on the Europian forums too. Wait time is still a lot on my battlegroup, and can be 10 minutes long.

Are you guys still experiencing regular disconnects and atrocious lag since Patch v2.4? I've heard horror stories ...

Seems like something they could just collect their own data for.

Why is Blizzard asking a question that they already know the answer to? Of course Blizzard can tell that queue times have been quicker, they don't need you to tell them. They're just doing this to placate all of you sheep who QQ about not being able to provide any feedback.

For the most part, yes, but when you get to 1850+ wait times are MUCH longer(5+ min in 2 and 3v). Possibly due to lack of teams at that arena rating level.

I have to say I thought Blizzard had really failed when after 2.4 we still have 7-10 min wait times on the 2v2 queues. But then, unexpectedly one weekend they suddenly went down to 5-30 secs... and stayed there! I can play pretty much any time of the day or night in Blackout Battlegroup and queues are always under 30s. So, yes, here in Europe at least some of us have fabulously short queue times which means Arena is once again a fast-paced affair.
Now, can they please do something about that seemingly interminable 60s preparation time AFTER you enter the Arena...! ;) [Warrior speaking - don't need a minute to cast Commanding Shout and Battle Shout then mount up]

The one minute delay is annoying but is necessary for people with bad connections/computers. A former arena mate would routinely take half a minute to load on his P3 system.

They seem faster which is good but the other issue I have now is preforming for BG's. It is hit or miss at best if we get in in 30 secs or over 10mins. Pretty annoying and I know they are trying to match us with another preform but there should be some sort of time limit then put us against whoever.

Yeah the wait times have greatly reduced... now I get schooled every 2-3 minutes instead of 10-15. I love it when my 1350(or less) ranked team goes against "Champions" and we reward them with 19 points...

Well, if you're like my team, it was going to happen anyway. At least this time around, it's about 20 minutes of punishment instead of 90.

I played 3v3 from midnight to 2am server time on Steamwheedle Cartel Sunday night, and every game, no joke, was Ruins of Lordaeron for us, and for everyone in our guild playing arenas at the time.
What the heck was that all about? Are they doing arena weekends now?

I've noticed queue times have decreased by a large amount in the past few weeks in the Whirlwind (US) battlegroup. Went from 1770 to 1942 with queue times less than 2 minutes last night. Was expecting to see a wait time of at least 10 minutes like it used to be every Monday night in my old battlegroup, Stormstrike.

All of my 2v2 and 3v3 times have been less than a minute. Before the patch 7-10 minutes for 2v2. Yeah, I'd say they're improved.
Now, if only the TR wasn't just East Coast....
