It's done by a company called Austin Laser Art. Justin, who owns the definitely Epic (or maybe even Artifact?) MBP, says that it took about 20 minutes to etch the laptop itself, though they did a few test etchings on paper to make sure it worked out all right first. The result looks pretty cool -- tons of detail and some really good looking shading. Plus, now we know what's behind that far portal in Nagrand: an Apple store.

It also comes with a special edition of the game with a 125-man instance, Cupertino. Where you face Steave Jobs!

Nah, I think they would go the route like Haris Pilton
Jeeve Sobs :D
Went to Zul'Aman for the first time over the weekend. I meet Harrison Jones there. I love the funny names in WoW. Another good one is the Innkeeper at Temple of Telhamut(spelling?), Ophera Windfury.

He does some amazing work. He was at SXSW Screenburn doing free laser etchings for 2 days, and it was great to see some of the work being done there. If you want to get something you own customized in this way, Austin Laser Art does a really great job.

Yknow, I always thought the laser etchings were really cheesy and tacky, but dammit, I want that on my 17" MBP :)

Maybe it's just me or maybe it's the angle of the photo, but doesnt the Portal look -slightly- crooked? It's an awesome piece, regardless.

My name is actually Shawn, Kyrra made a mistake (confused me with a different guildie), and it was funny that you mention that you mention that "we know what's behind that far portal in Nagrand: an Apple store." Because up until Saturday I was an Apple employee at a retail store.
