Of course, this could just be an Armory bug, so I did my level best to check it out for myself, by logging on to Proudmoore, the only server yet to have reached phase four. However, I learned that although Shaani spawns when phase four is activated, she doesn't sell gems until the Alchemy Lab is completed, much like Smith Hauthaa and the Anvil. So I can't confirm this with anything more than the Armory data at the moment. Proudmooreans, get going on Discovering your Roots, so we can uncover the truth of this gem-price-drop rumor.
If it's true, Badges of Justice might be worth more gold than we thought, depending on what the price of these epic gems stabilizes at.

As disappointing as it's going to be, I'm not sure how many discovering your roots got completed today. I went over there in the evening and after fighting for two of the quest items to use on the ravagers I ended up with bugged and evading ravagers both times. There were many clumps of grayed out mobs and in general it looked like if you were lucky enough to find a ravager that wouldn't evade, you'd be sitting on it quite a while. I spent 20 minutes and got nothing and it really didn't appear many others were having much luck either. Perhaps it was much better earlier in the day but for now it's a big disappointment. We did free a bunch of murlocs however, so moving ahead as much as we can.

As it was 15 gems is alot, 10 gems is alot better for people having to get on upwards of 10-15 gems to regear their equipment, and if you ever want to change your spec or gear in anyway, it's 10 more badges, kara is only 26 badges and getting pugs to run things can be often dreadfully saddening.
