nicee, that brings up a good point...why should you only be able to buy different types of arrows, why not get the ability to buff arrows/bullets...ice arrows slow down attack speed and movement, fire arrows, drop a fire tick on mobs, poison arrows, poison tick, im not a hunter, but i always thot you should be able to enchant ammo. rogues add poisons to their weapons, shammys add enhancements to theirs...

Well, since this bow doesn't use ammo at all (it generates it magically, which is why it's 45 dps or so above the current best obtainable bows, that's kind of a moot point.

if that were the case; it not using ammo, why does it mention that the ranged attack speed increase does not stack with ammo pouches. also the video shows it shooting arrows.
maybe i'll check wowhead for more information.

It shoots "magical" arrows, it doesn't require an ammo pouch or ammo.
It has the ranged attack speed increase because you no longer need an ammo pouch so it frees up a bag slot.

I think it's pretty handy that it has that graphic, so that when you find yourself getting totally owned by a hunter you'll think "oh, I see that cool light effect, it's that epic bow that he's owning my face with."

fwiw, the bow is Legendary, not Epic. That's kind of the whole point of this article.

We need a legendary gun, too.
No self-respecting Dwarf hunter would ever be seen carrying around some fancy elven twig-and-string arrow-tosser.

Well it looks to be metallic and doesn't use arrows, or appear to have any actual string so... close enough? :D

I think I would officially go batty and start leveling like crazy to get a chance at making a crafted legendary gun. Ideally one that's about as big as a gnome.

Reminds me of Taulmaril the Heartseeker - Catti-Brie's bow from the "Drizzt" series of books. It was always described as a bow with an unlimited supply of arrows that when fired shot as glowing blue sparkling energy.
Very cool--very freaking cool. :)

Exactly what I thought watching the video, and likely the inspiration for this bow.
