Also see the discussion here, the frames over here (if you don't want to actually have a custom plate), other suggestions (most of which seem like bumper stickers -- "My other car is a griffon"?) here, more discussion here, and many different WoW-related custom plates here.
Not sure what it is that drives us WoW fans to adorn our cars with inside jokes and lingo from the game, but it does seem to provide a fun hint of Azeroth while driving around. If you've got something cool on your car not seen here, send it along to us, and we'll add it into the gallery below.

I like the "WTF NOOB" plate. But I know here in California, they make you explain what your vanity plate really means when you submit your request. Hmmm.. what the fruit?

No no, you have to make it sound like you care.
'Want To Fund' ... um ... 'Non-Official Organized Broadband' ??
There, now you provide free networking services for charities.
Also: If you're from California, why is your avatar from Kentucky? ;-)

They have WoW credit cards, they need WoW plates. I might replace my Panthers (NFL) plate with a WoW plate. That would be uber nerdy with my big truck (Titan).

Someone in my building has ORC FOE although I suspect he's more of a LOTR fan than anything.

Much like WoW shirts and tattoos, I'm personally against publicly flaunting my inner nerd. I'm in the closet, and the novelty of something like that on either of my cars, while amusing, is going too far. Even if only a certain part of the gaming community would get the reference. I play the game, I understand my problem, that's enough.

Well, since I'm limited to 7 letters in my state, I'm thinking for my Resto Druid:
TOLFORM
RSTODRD
HEALZ4U
BATLREZ
Or for my grinding spec:
BOOMKIN
LZRCHKN
On my RV:
QUESTIN
Or non toon related license plate:
AFK BRB (Stay away from this car on the freeway.)
OOM
GANKER
TNKNSPNK
For bumper stickers:
"If You Are Close Enough To Read This, You Could Probably Sap Me!"
"Left Lane Take Skull, Right Lane Take X. Center Lane Burn Triangle"
"Don't Tailgate Or I'll Get My 70"
"This Is My Main Tank"
"Wearing Nothing But My Tabard"
"Get Out Of My Way! I'm Late For A Raid."
"Where Is The FP Around Here?"
"Flagged For PVP So Bring It On!"
"Would You Like To See My Enchanting Rod?"

My neighbor's license plate is "KAEL". Every time I see it I wonder if they mean what I think they mean. It's a Honda Odyssey, so I think it's just a coincidence.

Haha, I wondered about that too. They work at Microsoft, so there's a pretty fair chance they're geeky. Never did get up the nerve to ask, it's sort of awkward when you unexpectedly meet a couple of midgets, or whatever the proper term is.
((Don't ask how I know, but there can't be that many Honda Odysseys with the KAEL license plate, can there?))

Standard numberplates in QLD, Australia are three numbers, three letters. I recently saw the plate '101KEK' (LOL KEK!), and thought that the driver must be a WOWer.
However, I later noticed many vehicles with the KEK suffix - looks like KEK is just what the Transport Authority is up to in issuing the plates.
Now I want to find the guy again and offer to buy his plates from him :)

Seen recently at the Fairfax (VA) Saturn was OMG LAZR. I took a picture, but since it's not my car... My husband and I discussed getting PEW PEW, finding the person again and taking a picture side-by-side.
