Seriously, I REALLY have to agree to him. This is just plain fanboyism, not nerdom. I'm a nerd ,but god damn fanboy/girl much? Anyone who spazzed and didn't know this was OBVIOUSLY April fool's is an R-tard to begin with, AND anyone who actually cared...WOW... take a break from WoW and get a life.

Out pour of concern? I could give a rats bee-hind if they break up over Blizzard catering to causal play. In fact Blizzard rewards causal play with double xp, easy instances for those welfare epics, and more gold.

Any REAL gamer would not quit over game improvements.

Regardless of what you guys think, Nihilum does have a very large user-base on it's site, it's own community that rivals if not exceeds the size of this one, and a huge number of people that do in fact care what they say.

WoW's playerbase is so large that it's easy to claim that 'nobody cares' and even find tons of people that indeed, do not care. However, you will also find, if you look, tons of people that do. Do not deign to speak for everyone. For many, Nihilum are figureheads, and to deny their opinion has weight within the community at large is foolish. People do give a damn what they have to say, which is why we get a huge upsurge in traffic everytime we interview them.

You may not care, but trust me, there are plenty that do, and no amount of tit-for-tat mudslinging is going to change that.

I do think lots of the hate for Nihilum stems from their announcement that they reject female applicants. That left a very sour taste in many mouthes and lost them a lot of respect.

The thing I hate about Nihilum is the fuss about them. You can basically give them a chair and a table, sit them down in a mall to sign autographs and blogs like these will scream it's the greatest thing in the history of this world.
I mean, come on. If there's one game that is NOT based on skill it's World of Warcraft. Everything just comes down to putting a real shitload of time into it. Sure, I respect people that love this game so much they're dedicating their life to it, but it's not like they're super-talented rockstars or something...

The have GM's kill bosses for them, why wouldn't they be told the strat on how to deal with the boss? I am sure they don't walk into the PTR with no information at all...

And what makes you think they do any of this? They don't have information handed to them by Blizz, unless you know something that we don't. They don't have GMs hand them kills, unless you know some sort of insider deal going on.
