Patch 2.4 and many other WoW-related things dominated March 25th as the most popular Google searches. As of 8 PM CST, out of the top ten searches, only two were unrelated to the World of Warcraft. As you can see above, the Omen Threat Meter ranked number one. Not particularly surprising, since it is one of the most used WoW addons around. If WoW is going to dominate the charts, it should be no shock Omen took the lead, especially on a patch day.
As the night goes on, things are tapering off a little bit, but the numbers were still very impressive for most of the day. A screencap of what Omen's search traffic throughout the day looked like is just behind the cut, and you can see pretty clearly when people discovered the patch was coming.

Well, Omen updated for me, and shows up in-game, but does nothing when fighting. Still broke?

The other people have to have the new version of omen too. I did Magisters' earlier, and it only showed me and the healer, as we were the only two who had updated.

My friend and I both had the updated version, and it was showing nothing for either of us. We weren't / aren't happy campers.

though curse is not one of them, I have on occasion googled a website full link before. Take wikipedia for example. I had a hard time spelling that the first few times, it was easier to type it into Google and have them match it with the right Wikipedia than fail and end up at some squatter site.....

To all who did not get the:
"3. New england historic geological society."
it is because of a study about the genetic study on the family tree's of the political candidates. The whole news about Clinton and Angelina Jolie, Barac and Winston Churchill, McCain and someone. I read it in the Metro this mornign, basic contemporary fluff.

Since many people have google as startup site in there browser and the insert focus is on the search line and not in the adress line of the browser many just insert the desired web adress as search. Its more a lazy thing then being dumb.
