If baby creatures aren't your thing, there's also a number of new mounts available with the Sunwell patch. Two new PvP mounts: the Black War Elekk and Black Swift Warstrider. Information on obtaining these new mounts as well as pics can be found in our PTR post.
Finally, the new Rocket Mount will be introduced in either blue or red. This can only be gained through a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game loot card. Or, you know, EBay.
Patch 2.4 sounds great, but what's in it for you? Find out on our Sunwell Isle page where we list the impact on classes, professions, PvP, Raiders and many other playstyles and interests. You forgot about the Swift White Hawkstrider. It drops from KT on heroic MT. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35513
It's been updated to be able to be used by any race, so Alliance (and Taurens) now have access to a hawkstrider.

You also forgot about the baby crocolisks you might be able to get from the fishing dailies.

"collector's" - possessive or contraction.
"collectors" - plural.

I think the new elekk looks pretty good, but I agree to a degree with poste #2 -- when are we going to see some new flying mounts? There's very little variety there.

Saw both the crocolisk as the quest was to catch a crocolisk in Stormwind yesterday and a Phoenix Hatchling. Hopefully the drop rate isn't too bad on the Phoenix. I'm somewhat assured since a guildmate saw it drop yesterday in their first run.
