New Flametongue bugged
But the weapon hasn't quite had the desired effect yet on the PTR. In fact, as World of Raids has posted, it actually does exactly the opposite. As you can see above, Flametongue is actually adding to heals on the target of the attack, not halving them as its now meant to. No doubt this will be fixed before long, but a note to whoever's working on the Shaman class on the PTR: you should have used that minus sign in the code there, not the plus one.

Oh, shamans. When will you learn? This is a bug that will exist for years.
Hint: It's not a bug.

If you take a closer look at the numbers, it looks like more than the operation is a little off. Not only is the effect increasing the healing, it's increasing it by 66% of the original healing, rather than 50% (425 + 425*0.66 = 705.5).

Wow, what a sloppy piece of coder that developer is. Seriously, QA your own work.

Same guy who did the ghost wolf and brutallis?
but seriously that is amazing, in an attempt to buff Shamans, they buff all other classes (well the targeted ones anyway :D)

I bet the developer didn't roll a Shaman.... :(
Wouldn't it be great if the developers where Shamans! Then I wouldn't spent my evenings in the BattleGrounds staring at the ground with the little fuzzy thing going around my head as a Rogue ate my lunch.

Shammies get a buff and it turns into this? So very wrong.

Why do people insist on calling this a buff?
If I put blessing of wisdom on a rogue, would you call that a buff?
Well, it's about as useful.
"CAN'T DO THAT WHILE STUNNED."
"CAN'T DO THAT WHILE STUNNED."
"CAN'T DO THAT WHILE STUNNED."
"YOU ARE TOO FAR AWAY."
"YOU ARE DEAD."
Seriously, shaman want ways to get into combat and stay there. GW doesn't help in doors and the toughness thing isn't helping elemental or resto shaman.
This only makes melee against a resto or elemental shaman a little more annoying, as Enhancement with a clue will still avoid FT due to a loss of burst that makes it about worthless.
The fact that we can't even get the buffs as they intended, and this was also done in 2.3, shows how horrible they are at this.

Amazing. For a single change they manage to get the entire thing wrong; how on earth could they have missed this? Brutallis and others I can kind of understand, being a single aspect of the mob overlooked. But a simple test from anyone would have shown this one, in any situation; it's not even obscure. First year programmers wouldn't have even made this mistake. They would've been beaten to death by their lecturers.

Wow, I thought QA at my company was a little rough at times, did they do any at all? Hmm. That's the problem with making quick iterative changes, they didn't do QA, they are depending on people on the PTR to do it for them.
