Happy Valentine's Day! Even in
WoW,
love is in the air. The heart of this unexplained in-game phenomenon is a
popularity contest between the faction leaders. Players can vote for their choice by turning in a
Horde or
Alliance Gift Collection near their favorite leader. The winner of the contest gets the pleasure of having
Kwee Q. Peddlefeet around for a week of hit point buffs for anyone audacious enough to /kiss him.
Many of us will be forgoing our Azeroth adventures in favor of spending time with the objects of our affections. Some couples will share special in-game moments with their significant others. May I suggest a
Bouquet of Red Roses and some Delicious
Chocolate Cake for your sweetheart? We would love to hear your stories of
love and romance in
WoW.

For various reasons, I decided to largely not bother with the romantic crap this year (and I mean pretty much all of the year), and owing to the fact that I have a tremendous fatigue headache and there's a chance I may fall asleep driving home anyway, I doubt I'll be doing much tonight other than falling asleep on the couch.
Sad, but true. :(

Is it bad that I had to reread that since you used the term "40 man" outside of WoW related things?

Not that my wife and I do a lot for valentines anyway, but she's working tonight, so I'll be playing WoW.

to ravenswing, nothing wrong with that, the fact that this day was originally supposed to be an eqivalent of a wife swap amongst roman soldiers in gaul and britain and that the romantic stuff was added on later may help you feel better :)
Plus your not spending money on romance, which cane be better spent on alchol :)

Wife and I will be having a nice quiet dinner at home. I'll probably play WoW for a couple hours after she goes to sleep tonight.

I will be raiding, working on SSC with my guild 3/5 in there and tying for #4 Fathom-Lord tonight. V-day is just another day to me.

My husband really hates corporate holidays, so we don't do anything for Valentine's day. Thats not to say he never does anything for me though, he's always getting me random "just because" presents or cards, so I wouldn't change him for anything!
So what will we be doing for Valentine's day? Playing WoW of course!

We canceled guild raiding today due to the number of married people in our guild--but my husband and I will probably be in game later working on alts together or something after we have a nice dinner :)

I'll probably be spending most of the day working on school stuff and afterwards some WoW. Not that I really care about this V-day. Just another way to make money to be honest.

My SO and will probably be farming Strat, doing WSG on our twinks, or leveling our newest alts together. Possibly raiding SS, since we're both big fans of world PvP, especially when teamed up.
This weekend he's taking me to a hibachi grill, as a belated birthday/Valentine's day thing, then probably to a bar to celebrate the fact that I recently turned 21. Hehe.
