If you, like me, are willing to spoil the living heck out of patches before they drop, just generally like watching boss fights to try and work out what they're doing, or are in any way intrigued by a dragon hitting a bear in the face, this is the video for you. Without spoiling, all I can really say is it looks like a really interesting fight, and the lore nerd in me is itching to see how this inclusion of out-game media (the Sunwell Trilogy manga) into WoW proper will continue once things like the movie hit. Will we see characters from the comic book?
Seriously, here there be spoilers. Thanks to World of Raids for the video link..
I'm not kidding. If you don't like spoilers, do not pass go, as I promise you there's no chance you'll collect $200.

As we can see from watching, the fight seems to combine elements of the Vaelastrasz and C'thun fights. I'm not sure what's going on when you change to the Inner Void, exactly... is Kalecgos tanking himself in there? Anyone care to hazard a guess? It looks like he's fighting a demonic figure but I can't tell for sure. (This is where Matt reveals he has poor eyesight, I guess.) Somewhat like fighting inside the stomach during C'thun, but with a much different flavor.
Man, I was already excited to see new lore in the game, and now this fight has me desperate to see it.
Anyway, here's the video, enjoy your rampant spoilerage.

In the Inner Veil, it looks like Kalecgos (in human form) is fighting Sathrovarr the Corrupter, one of the Nathrezim (dread lords). I guess that part of the fight is taking place somewhere in the twisting nether, or inside Kalecgos' mind, trying to fight off the corruption, which is making him attack us in the mortal plane/real world.

Are we sure it's this other Nathrezim? There's still the open ended (yet questionable) lore related path that Varimathras from UC will betray Slyvanas.

Oh man I hope Varimathas doesn't betray the Forsaken, although, you're right, that's probably something he would do.
That's what you all get for thinking you "can match the might of a Dreadlord." Don't forget: he's "always on the winning side."

He's not the only Dreadlord 'at large', but man alive, if he did, this content patch argueably would have the most lore changes since Warcraft III.

Yes, Kal is possessed by some sort of demon, and when you jump in the portal, you kill the demon. The human form of Kal is inside the portal.
You require a small team to enter the portal to DPS the demon while the remainder of the raid DPSes Kal's dragon form. You will be teleported out automatically after a short time, where you get a debuff (ala Netherspite) preventing you from going back in for a short time.

*crossing fingers for human model's update* please blizzard, my human mage really needs to fix that shovel-strike-when-I-was-a-kid face... and Kalegcos seems even more human than the real humans *sigh*

We'll never get that lucky, since he's masqurading as a half-elf. Apparently you have to have an elf in your genes in order to look normally human.
How random...

While we've known it for at least a few days now... it's nice to see another dragon raid boss in BC. There were quite a few dragons in vanilla WoW, and even though most of those were confined to BWL, there were still others such as Onyxia and Sapphiron. We finally have our third dragon boss in BC, and the first outside of Kara.
Zomgz, needz moar dragenz!

I still wonder about the Blue Dragonflight in WotLK.
We can't possibly kill him, right? It'll be an avatar of something, I would think. Because killing a Dragonflight... gah. That'd be all sorts of wacky.

If you had watched all the way through the credits you would have noticed it is "Fire" by Scooter

Not a bad vid but the music made my ears bleed. This guy should also invest in a new PC, mine is five years old (and it looks like we're running a similar mod payload) with the only upgrade being a new video card a couple years ago and it takes a fraction of the time it was taking him to load.

My computer is still under a year old and it takes just about as long to load. It's the addons, and you can clearly see the heavy use of addons the video maker had.

If you say so ... I have about 45 different addons (not including libs and mods that have multiple parts like Atlas, DBM, Quartz, Prat, MobMap and Cartographer). If I add up all the different module I come up with about 117.

Unless I'm mistaken, didn't they already confirm that Lo'Gosh (Varian Wrynn) will have a large role in Wrath of the Lich King, and will also be appearing in the movie?

Hence the "(Varian Wrynn)". ;P
It's not even a rumor anymore, the comic itself is dropping hints like anvils in a Roadrunner cartoon, and the preview for issue #6 makes it absolutely obvious.
