We all know (or at least I hope we all know) that World of Warcraft is a game -- an MMO set in an immense universe with countless quests to do and whole continents to explore. However, sometimes the big game isn't as interesting as the minigames you can find. Steam tonk wars? (Or other pet games.) Guild bank checkers? (If you haven't tried that one, it's a blast!) What do you think of Azeroth's minigames -- do you play them? Do you enjoy them? Do you make up your own to entertain yourself between raids? Tell us about them!

Our guild played hide and go seek in Undercity one night for two hours. We had to have the hunters turn off their Find Humanoids ability. I offered prizes of 1-10g for our guildies to play otherwise they would not have spent time doing it. Once they got started though, they loved it and it became a regualr event in other places.
If they could not find me quickly, I would start sending out vague hints in guild chat every couple of minutes until I was found.

No, some overhyped jock got jailed to too little time for abusing his animal grossly, and FORCING them to fight other animals, cruelly killing any who didn't measure up, or allowing them to be killed by stronger animals. Animal abusers don't have pets, only victims.

Dunno about here, but back when I still played FFXI, my linkshell used to periodically sponsor Naked Marathons - basically everyone would strip off all their gear and run from one starting point to another, usually with a prize for the winner.
It'd probably be even more fun on WoW, given the variety of the terrain and movement-affecting abilities and such. Of course, I'm not in a guild yet, so I couldn't say.

I haaaaate the Ogri'La Daily, thank jeebus for Ogri'Lazy. I was never a fan of simon says! And I do want to go play Chess against other people in my guild, that'd be a blast! I also heard about a guild playing musical chairs in Moroes' room.
My guild is great at coming up with social fun events. Naked runs to random places, fashion shows, naked fighting, treasure hunters, hide and seek... There's a lot to keep you occupied ^_^

...when waiting for some guild members to catch up to us just before Prince in Kara....me and my mate Tim decided to throw leather balls at each other and try and dodge out of the way of them. Annoyed the hell outta the other guildies but real fun!

One of my friends on an RP-PvE server had a guild event where they all rolled level 1 dwarves and raced from the starting area to Booty Bay.
My friend was new to the game and had never played alliance, so she got very turned around initially, but then I started directing her and she was the only one who ended up swimming along the Westfall/Stranglethorn coast and won the contest easily.
We also had a scavenger hunt around Orgrimmar once, random stuff you might not notice like the armor of Mannoroth.
And, of course, drinking, dancing and naked fistfights are the heart of any RP event.

My guild hosts naked runs, drag runs (male toons wearing dresses; dwarves were an obvious first choice, taurens will be next...), hunts to collect "full sets" of trash armor (knitted, crocheted, etc.) and brief events like summoning parties where we bring lowbies to useful flightpaths like Kargath, Hammerfall and Refuge Point. We also had a picnic where we gave rare recipes to the toons who increased their cooking the most in one afternoon; everyone donated uncooked food of all levels and we had helpers stationed as "spice racks" to start fires and offer spices and other ingredients. We had a farming night in Arathi to gather mats for our new and poor bank - guild members pretty much wiped the whole area and we reaped stacks of leather, ore & cloth. At Winters Veil, we made sure that every member had at least 5 small eggs to complete the Greatfather cookie quest; this took much bird killing in Mulgore, Ashenvale and Westfall! We've also done Hallow's End fun runs of low level dungeons, where costumes are required and oddball fighting styles encouraged - priests melee, hunters put their pets on aggressive, warriors and rogues equip fish or mugs. So, um...yeah. We're into games a bit.
