Obviously, all of our classes have a bunch of combat spells, and we use them in combat all the time. But when it comes to standing around the city, all of us might as well be clowns mocked up in different outfits, because we don't use our magic unless we're killing something. Of course there are also a lot of non-combat spells, such as mages summoning food and water, or warlocks summoning you and me. But is there any use to some of our combat spells for those times when we're not in combat? The greatest non-combat use I can think of for combat spells is in roleplaying, such as the frost-mage gnome I featured in an article, who had such a horrible cold all the time -- she would sneeze and Frost Nova at the same time for a really fun character effect. I'd love to hear some more of these roleplaying ideas, but I'd also like to hear from non-roleplayers as well. How do you use your spells to entertain yourself or your friends, without killing something at the same time?

Well, it's not really a combat spell.
But you know what's fun? Extreme catch. 2 flight form druids, a lake in nagrand, and 5 heavy leather balls.

Human male paladins often re-enact Saturday Night Live with liberal use of Blessing of Freedom, Consecration and various seals.

As a dwarf hunter I use changing of aspect as part of my dancing. Looks very good when timed correctly.

I've got a paladin macro that I don't really use anymore, but it was funny for a time.
/cast Consecration
/fart Jax
/smell Jax
/e feels his dignity being blown away...
And yep, nothing is more fun than plummeting and using BoP/DS at the last second. Well, maybe going to do it without realising you just used AW so have forebearance. >.

My warlock friend & I used to have a lot of fun standing around casting Blizzard and Rain of Fire simultaneously on the heads of anyone around. Not sure why we found it to be so much fun, but the graphical effect was very cool.

Being a druid, I rather like casting Tranquility. It's a very peaceful and relaxing, not to mention cool looking spell that fills the entire screen.

My favorite Macro for my Shaman, Wolfieone, Angry Heroism:
/say You should not have gotten me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!
/cast Heroism
/roar
And Wolfiemania Rage:
/say WHATCHA gonna do, when Wolfiemania runs wild on you, BROTHER?!
/cast Shamanistic Rage
/roar
A little more battle oriented, but I get good response doing them in Town too. hehe

My wife has that macro for hurricane.
Shaman disco totem.
Find a corner. Drop your totems so they all land on the exact same spot, takes a little practice.
You then all /dance next to it.
Sometimes I drop my earth elemental and give it a /hug. Then I recall it.
Bloodlust while fishing. (Better not to ask why)
Base jumping in Shattrath using DS to land in front of some very startled people by the Horde Battlemasters.
Long ago the best totem ever was sentry totem. You would go to 1000 needles, jump off the bridge and just before landing drop it. The totem automatically switched your view to the totem and happened to stop your body in place. Switch back and you fell normally but starting again at the new point, which meant you took almost no damage if any.
(It was the only reason some of us had sentry totem in our bars at all.
