Every Wednesday World of WarCrafts features a recipe or craft that teaches you how to make own real life version of in-game recipes and items. This week I thought I would tackle the only (as far as I know) Epic cooking recipe that WoW has to offer, Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops. This recipe is only available upon completion of a quest and has a panda on the front. What could be better than that? Nothing is better than a recipe with a panda on the front except maybe being able to make it IRL.
This recipe is a bit more involved than my past recipes have been but I figured I could get away with it since this is an Epic recipe to begin with.
Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops
4 pieces boneless Chimaerok Tenderloin
1/4 cup Refreshing Spring Water
Hot Spices divided
4-6 Spongy Morel sliced
1-2 slices of Ogre fruit cut into ribbions
3 Tablespoons Noobsauce
3/4 cup Goblin Rocket Fuel
Deeprock Salt
1-2 Tablespoons Blessed Wizard Oil
Add 1/2 Hot Spices to a bag and add the Chimaerok Tenderloin, let mearinate for 30 minutes to overnight.
Add Blessed Wizard Oil to a skillet and heat over medium high heat. Add the Chimaerok Tenderloin to the pan and brown on both sides. Brush with more Hot Spices on each side and continue cooking. Add Refreshing Spring Water to your skillet. Cover and let cook until the Chimaerok Tenderloin is cooked through.
Remove meat from your pan to a plate, cover with foil to keep warm. Add ogre fruit and Spongy Morels to the pan. Allow to cook for 2-5 minutes. Add Goblin Rocket Fuel, Noobsauce, and remaining Hot Spices, mix well. Now add the Deeprock Salt if desired to taste.
Translation:
Chimaerok Tenderloin- Boneless pork chops
Refreshing Spring Water- water
Hot Spices- Sundried Tomato salad dressing
Spongy Morel- mushrooms
Ogre fruit- onion
Noobsauce- Ketchup
Goblin Rocket Fuel- white wine
Deeprock Salt- salt
Blessed Wizard Oil- olive oil or vegetable oil

I would have done it this way:
Chimaerok Tenderloin- Loin of Ostrich
Refreshing Spring Water- Water
Hot Spices- Szechuan White Pepper
Spongy Morel- Morels
Ogre fruit- Guava
Noobsauce- Young Chicken Stock
Goblin Rocket Fuel - Whiskey
Deeprock Salt- Sel Gris (this is how i came up with the name Selgris btw)
Blessed Wizard Oil- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
First of all they forgot that the chops are grilled. Second, they marinated their chops in pure hot spices, do you think that wopuld taste good? No.
The chops are seasoned with the white pepper and grey sea salt, then covered with the Blessed Virgin Oil. These get grilled at service. meanwhile, the whiskey is reduced, then the young chicken stock is added, and reduced further. This hot sauce is then poured over the sliced morels and guava emince, and this is allowed to steep.
When the chops are done, the morels and guava are spooned carefully onto the plate, then the chop is laid down, then the reduction is glazed over the chop and around for aesthetic.
A final garnish of netherbloom flower is added for perfume, and then served with a flagon of Thunder45 which has been allowed to stand up for three days to throw sediment.

Sounds great, but Goblin Rocket Fuel = white wine? I think you're giving the goblins too much credit. I'd expect some kind of rotgut stuff that my friend's dog wouldn't even drink (and he'll drink anything).

I've actually been working on this recipe since November. My last attempt was quite good - but epic recipes call for epic taste, so I'm still working at it. :)
Did you take any pics of the actual dish?

@12
Sorry I didn't get any pics of the actual dish. I made this last week before I thought to use it for this. :( And now I'm out of Goblin Rocket Fuel so it will have to wait for another time.
