Around Azeroth: Run away!
Reader Sigyn of Grim Batol (EU) offers us this shot from Nagrand, where we see poor Sigyn being chased by a blast from one of the cannons in Forge Camp: Hate. But if you're familiar with the landscape of Nagrand, there's something wrong with this picture... Sigyn doesn't seem to be near either of the forge camps in Nagrand. How did this happen? Apparently with an epic flying mount and a riding crop you can outpace them, and apparently Sigyn had been kiting this one all over Nagrand for fun.

We don't offer gold -- but we do offer immortal fame in our Around Azeroth screenshot gallery.

Someone launched a shadowbolt at me in Blade's Edge mountain just as I was choosing my destination from the griffin master. It followed me all the way to my final destination where it finally impacted.
The NPC grifs are just a little bit faster than the projectile so I outpaced it a little bit, but it was very funny to see its black trail following me everywhere

Actually in Nagrand there is a bugged Fel Cannon that will continue to shoot at you all over Nagrand once you aggro it. It doesn't do any damage but I have been blasted all the way from Forge Camp:Hate to Shatt.

x2.
Have personally been shot at by this buggy cannon (which seems to be in the hillside). It followed me, doing no damage and not interrupting drinking/bandaging, from the Forge Camp through Garadar, and up to Zangarmarsh.

Was doing my dailies for the netherwing, finished my boot quest, headed out to Nagrand for the disruption quest. About 13 mobs in, a boot suddenly flies in and I catch it. I wish I had screen shotted that but it was so unexpected.
One impressive throw if you ask me.

The first time I took my epic flying mount to Skettis, I managed to kite a shadowbolt from one of the Kaliri all around Skettis. It looked so amazing as it was only about 15 feet behind me, and I couldn't shake it off. in the end, I kept climbing in circle until I reached mazimum height, got hit by it, fell off into the lake, and swam out. I've never quite managed to do it again though :(

I've had a shadowbolt launched at me from a corrupter that wanders near Ogri'la. That thing followed me all the way to Shatt, it was pretty funny to have a black floating skull tailing me the whole way.

I had this happen for the first time to me last night, in Ogri'la. A shadowbolt launched from a corrupter trailed me in my druid swift flight form across Blade's Edge, into Zangarmarsh, and back to Ogri'la where I finally let it hit me. Swift flight with the trinket was faster than the bolt, but without the trinket was slightly slower, so I was able to keep it in view whenever I wanted.
This made for one of the more amusing discoveries in the game.

I don't mean to be a jackass, but do you mean "hilarity ensues"? Really, I'm not trying to be mean about it. Just letting you know what the expression really is if you didn't already know ; )
Anyways, very cool shot. I'd love to try it out, but I haven't been able to tear myself away from my alt long enough to gather enough money for my main's epic.

Something similar happened to me once, as a young drood. I was waiting in Barrens for a run of WC, and this jerk hunter, about 6 levels above me, decided to camp me. I eventually got my Teleport:Moonglade spell off, and as I was on my way to Darnassus, on the hippogryph flying above the sea, his Aimed Shot hit me in the back. He had really good aim.

I found out this also work with the Paladin Aura, as I got too low near the blood elves of Eclipsilon Point in Shadowmoon and still had the fireball behind me when I hit Shatt. I had a few curious looks while riding around Shatt with a fireball chasing me.
