Every Thursday, Well Fed Buff will be serving up the tastiest dishes to boost your HP and stats, just in time for your weekend gaming.Night Dragon's Breath Dip was first discovered in Felwood. Dwarves, beware: Despite the obvious health and mana boost from the Night Dragon's Breath, this addicting dip can have a negative long-term impact to the basic stats of those who tend to overindulge.
The mats
1 10-oz. package frozen, chopped broccoli
1 package mild Mexican Velveeta
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Tortilla chips
The process
Low heat and patience are vital in creating Night Dragon's Breath Dip. Craftsmen from across Azeroth and the Outland claim to have uncovered the advantages to combining the mats in a specific order, but we've found that as long as all the mats make it into the trade window and care is taken during the combine, the attempt will be successful. Breaking up the cheese into smaller stacks and defrosting the broccoli can speed the process.
(More on this recipe and off-spec variants ahead!)

A skillup point is guaranteed for each batch of Night Dragon's Breath Dip you create without burning some cheese at the bottom of your pan. Stir, stir, stir -- and don't go afk while cooking this one!Off-spec variations
Melee classes tend to scoff at the small mana and health returns of this recipe and often prefer a variant involving Dragonbreath Chili. Simply substitute a can of chili (any type, from any faction) in place of the broccoli – loads of +sta from this spec. Mana-hungry healers sometimes substitute frozen, chopped spinach for the broccoli, but most melee types will turn up their noses at this variant.
Be forewarned: Night Dragon's Breath Dip is labeled as Bind on Pickup -- but in fact, this item is frequently ninja'd and is notorious for being misdirected during master looting. Do your best to avoid lag spikes while looting, and give loot assignments your full attention in order to avoid mishaps. Position carefully to avoid splash damage, and expect some basic repair costs for your tabard afterwards.

toss in a can of artichoke hearts and you've got my mom's artichoke dip - a big hit at office parties
velveeta is ok, but there are other, better quality cheeses out there. a spicy mexican mix would go great with the chili.
we usually make ours in the oven, but stovetop works just as well
great recipe, really enjoying this column! keep up the great work :)

dispite the 'cheesy' nature of this column, I always read, and generally enjoy thinking about it.
If I'd never seen it, the idea would have seemed silly and stupid... but "well fed buff" is not one of the columns I ever skip over. Thanks for creatively, successfully, pulling off a spectacular new idea.

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying the recipes -- they're really fun to do, and we have some awesome recipes coming up soon from others on the WoW Insider team.
Arras, you're right about the Velveeta -- tastier by all means with better quality cheese, but this "cheesy" variation is easy to buy and make. I actually have a vegan friend who has made this with a soy cheese substitute. Not quite as yummy, IMHO ... But it works!
Art! /hug
Oh, and Shelbi -- I promise, this doesn't taste too "broccoli-y." The spicy cheese carries the day, and even little kids will devour this without a second thought about the broc once they've tasted it. Give it a shot!

Love the column, love to cook (375 in game, working towards 375 irl), luckily I just had lunch else I too would be under the effect of "Hungry" debuff.
However, I can't help but think spinach artichoke dip with cream cheese would be more to my liking. Maybe it is just the fear of Velveeta. That stuff is not natural.
Keep up the good work. ^_^

The only thing you have to worry about if you eat a lot of this dip is if your minimap starts showing all of the gas clouds forming in the area, if you get my drift.

Now, if only I could figure out if the small box of waves that cook stuff that engineers seem to use(microwave) would work just as well....
