Just so I'm clear, the priest mind controlled the shaman then cast summon ghost wolf, or whatever the spell is called, when the hunter got the meta gem to proc?

@3
yes, I believe so. To make sure they get the summon at an opportune time that coincided with the proc of the mystical skyfire diamond.

With such a small margin of error, it helps a lot to do it that way since proccing that gem is pure luck at times. Sometimes you get it on the first try, sometimes 20 tries later. I asked the shaman and priest to cast Bloodlust and summon the pet right as I proc to get it all done in one go easily. I was changing aspects to proc the gem if you didn't know.
Now that I have it, I hope Blizzard doesn't remove it or change it someway. I'm going to hold off on leveling it until I'm certain they won't do anything.

For all the people putting so much time and effort into it, I certainly hope that in 2.3.2 Blizzard doesn't make them untamable and such. :/

I can't see them NOT changing this wolf. From what they said, it's immune to alot. I think people are going to find this taken out pretty quickly. It's an awesome looking model, and I wish they'd let the ones in SFK be tameable so people can level up with it, but I just really doubt it.

I spent a lot of time (and some money for the gem) to get this pet, but he's so unique, it was worth it. I'm sure there is a ghost wolf nerf coming soon, but I hope they let us keep the ones we've already tamed. I'd hate to see all the work that went into this thrown away.

I tamed it last night with help from guildies and I love the looks. Will wait a bit before I start leveling it to see if they don't change the skin.

@5, 11: What if they only get rid of the ones that have been sitting in the stable, aka, yours? Once I catch mine, I'm leveling it.

I hope that Blizz does not make any change to that awesome looking pet. I managed to solo tame the Amani Bear on the PTR, and was shocked when I realize that they were no longer tame-able on the live realms.
Grats!

The summon wolf ability shows on the priests pet bar. Its an instant cast.
Changing aspects is still affected but the global cooldown, it seems in the movie that the hunter is changing faster than I would have thought possible.
