OK, here is a picture of my down to earth WoWspace. Included in the picture is -- first and foremost -- my assistant copilot Meg (4) who is someday sure to be a vital part of the WoW community. Also pictured is my 39 gallon aquarium, which is very calming after a long night of raiding. From there, you'll notice my logitech X230 speakers, 19" Dell LCD screen, Logitech Elite Keyboard LE, and Logitech Marble Mouse.
Additionally, I have several pictures of the family so I don't forget I have a life outside of WoW and a notepad for taking notes while in-game. Oh, and my mascot the skeleton beanie baby (creepers), several stacks of misc. used and unused DVD recordable discs and my cyber acoustics headset. Not seen in the picture (it's below the desk) is the subwoofer for the X230 speakers, and the workhorse that powers all my WoW fun -- a custom built PC with 3.2 ghz P4, 2 GB of Kingston Hyper-X Ram, Seagate Barracuda 250 GB HDD, Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy 7.1, and a XFX 8800gtx PCI-e video card.
As the axiom goes, "the family that slays together, stays together" -- or something like that. Whatever the case may be, we wish Erikmathew, family and fish many happy hours gaming together. If you'd like to show off your own WoWspace in an upcoming edition, just send along pictures and all the information about it to me at readerwowspace@gmail.com! Oh, and a happy pie day to all -- no matter where you are. (Do you really need a reason to enjoy a pie day?)

Nice zone to play in, but I can't help but post on that system config...
Bro, upgrade your proc! You've got to be CPU-limited with that P4, especially given the sweet 8800GTX handling video. You may be lucky enough to only have to replace the proc, but for the love of god, please don't hold that GTX back with that 3 year old processor. Get a BIOS update for your mobo and pop in a Core 2 Duo, you'll thank me later. :)

Fun-Fact: By merely looking at the screen the kid is able to stealth her character.

@2: The res on a 19" screen won't be very demanding, so even if the rest of the machine is not running at it's true capacity, I bet he still gets a decent FPS and has no problems with anything else he does on the machine.

I demand a close-up of the fishtank!
Really nice setup you have there, a perfect example of those of us out there to lead the so-called "normal life!" Cute kid, too! :)

@4: With WoW, I'm with ya... but to be honest, there's no reason to buy a 8800GTX for WoW, you're getting it for other games... of which he is DEFINITELY CPU limited.
You upgrade path is pretty good, sir, I must applaud you on that. I think you'd be surprised how much faster those new procs will affect daily performance, as well as in-game. Turn it all up to max, you'll still be sitting pretty.

I do have to say...it's gotta kill his/her eyes, playing in the day. It's not good for your eyes to look at a screen for long periods of time when it's in front of a strong light source.
