Once again I have pulled from my epic stable of alts to fill a starring role in this week's comic. The legendary Banhammer, level 9 dwarf warrior extraordinaire, is here to get his drink on. Which is what he does best. And most often. Not that I'm insinuating that he has a drinking problem, but he often refuses to enter combat unless he is properly "buffed". And by "buffed", I mean "completely sloshed out of his gourd." It's a time honored dwarven tradition, I hear.
It may be the lack of sleep talking, but I'm actually quite happy with the way this comic turned out. I employed a different technique of coloring that I had found in a digital art magazine a few months back, and the results are a lot more clean and professional then I had expected. Perhaps we will see more of this style in the near future - or perhaps I'll switch to drawing stick figures with sidewalk chalk, just to keep you guys on your toes. Expect the unexpected!

My dear, dear Scuba Sally, you are giving me way too much credit. If you take a moment to scroll up, you will notice that I am not a journalist, I am an artist (of the web comic variety). Even when I write posts for WoW Insider that do not contain hand drawn images, I could loosely be considered a blogger at best. The difference between a blogger and a journalist is a highly subjective topic, one that has been debated time and time again across the 'net. To sidestep that conversation completely, I will officially state that I do not consider myself a journalist and will never claim to be one.
On the subject of spelling errors, if you spend some time browsing the blog-o-sphere outside of the Joystiq Network you will come to find that quite a few bloggers spel thengs kompletly rong. Compared to the majority of those atrocities committed against the English language, my spelling habits could be nominated for the Nobel Prize.
Thank you very much for taking the time and care to inform me that I have misspellings in my post, but please try to maintain a level of perspective next time. I want the WoW Insider readers to be reading /silly for the bizarre sense of humor and the artwork that I deliver, not to have an exercise in proofreading.
Out of curiosity, can I ask what is misspelled? I've read over the post several times and I cant seem to find it myself. It may be a case of the creator being too close to his creation to see its flaws, I'm not sure. Please let me know and I will make sure to get the issue corrected immediately.
