As patch 2.3 draws ever nearer, the question once again arises; when it finally hits, where will you be, and what will you be doing? First and foremost, I think I will spend some quality time a) celebrating its arrival while b) lamenting server downtime.Personally, I'm going to try to be diligent about monitoring updates for my addons (which is what we all know Mike won't be doing). It's my new-patch-resolution. Unfortunately, there likely will not be fixes for my every woe immediately. While bemoaning my misfortune, I may pop into a battleground and check out what life is going to be like sans deadzone. Heck, I may as well try to get some dailies credit for it!
I'll also have to show my hobbies some lurv. At some point, you might catch me meandering through Azshara with my sights set on a shiny Azure Whelpling, as soon as I feel like hunkering down in farming mode. I'll definitely have to go check out what The Rokk has cooking, and of course, /cry and /whine that my addons are on vacation.
What will you be doing when 2.3 finally arrives? Will you be testing class changes, playing around with your professions, popping into PvP, or starting up "nerf huntarz sine here plzkthnxbye" and "NO U" threads on the forums? Or will you bearly be all business (okay, horrible pun. /slap self), heading out to Zul'Aman?

I will be finishing levelling my alt (Now my main, even though my "main" is close to 70) to 70. Half way there. :P
And probably wondering why the extended maintence is taking so long and refreshing the wow realm status every .10 of a second.

The top guilds on your server are only around Gruul/Void Reaver?

I'll be buying the entire S1 set, so I can finally get over that 1800 hump I can't seem to get over in PvE gear.

Lol @3 that sounded like you were bragging about how you have Gruul's on farm ^_'^, but seriously though on patch release I will develop an entirely new UI (I find that fun :P), check out Zul Aman, kit myself out with some new S3 gear (If it is S3 on patch day) and then level my rogue which is conviniently PAST Dustwallow Marsh :

I'll be reclaiming the sullied name of the forlorn Retribution Paladin, happy that all of that gear that I've gathered up won't be vain.
Then I will commence begging people to give me a shot because I promise promise promise Ret Pallies are better now.

@10 Don't count on S3 starting when 2.3 goes live. They're on the record stating they're going to give at least 2 weeks notice that S2 is ending. So we can conclude that 2.3 is either 2 or more weeks away or they don't plan on starting S3 when 2.3 starts.
The second we get the notification that S2 is over in 2 weeks, we'll know 2.3 is ready to roll.

1. Buying the S1 Arena staff. (Other items from my shopping list if I have the honor to spare. Also purchasing a Hippogryff presuming I have the cash on hand - which I should unless the patch is tomorrow.)
2. Cooking daily quests.
3. Fishing for the fish tracking journal, and fishing skill points.
4. Try out the new AV to see whether Blizzard ruined the honor gain rate. Either mourn or work on getting the rest of my honor wish list depending.

Leveling my alts.
I have refused to do this until 2.3 hits because it seems like a waste of time.
So instead of checking out the new end game stuff, I will be rather quickly making my way to 70 on my druid.

I'll be at work. Then when I get home I will likely have to seal the new bathroom tile and run the wiring for the new vanity lights (remodelling a bathroom in my house). Undoubtedly one of the kids will need to be taken somewhere for something. Get clothes ready for work for Wed. Work on homework (graduate finance course...blech). Then maybe, just maybe I will be able to log on late in the evening...where I will undoubtedly find that I need to completely reconfigure my UI and map mods. So I won't be getting much into the creamy filling, I'm afraid.
