Low level dungeon item updates
Keep in mind, however, that any of these stats might change as new builds come up on the PTR. Some updated items in particular seem to be missing (such as all Gnomeregan drops, and the new low-level epics we've heard about), so check back at the list now and then to see any updates.

In response to poster #1, if patch 2.3 hits before December, I will eat Whitemane's Chapeau.
I would not even bet money on this year.
It is a *big* patch, and there's a lot to test, and a lot of that testing is being neglected (eg. try to find a PUG to test whether the new tightened pre-60 instance level ranges are actually appropriately tuned -- you can't). Even in the things I can test by myself, I am still finding bugs. There's a lot more testing needed.

Some of these changes suck, [Vestments of the Atal'ai Prophet] for example is a total downgrade. Those three pieces were awesome priest gear.

@3: Well 2.2 took a long time due to the sound engine being reworked. 2.3 is all content, and apparently the testing is going well, so I think we might see it after the Hallow's End event is completed.

This may have been answered already, but does anyone know if previous versions (already in the hands of players) will be modified? Or will they maintain the pre-2.3 stats?

Another nerfed item is the Earthslag Shoulders (http://wowhead.com/?item=11632). I guess it's useful to Warriors now... but destroyed the usefulness for Pallies.

Wow. Pally +spell dmg plate from BRD took a pretty big hit. Guess all the DPS warriors whined too much.
Overall I say good moves, although some of them seem a bit strange to me. However, the updated Rugged Spaulders from Rethilgore are sexy enough to make me want to roll a new rogue.

@10 & 11
Tell me about it. I spent so much time in there with a 70 guildie getting me this gear so I would have it for my pally alt, and now it's nigh crap.
Oh well, I gotta keep my eyes on Outland gear I suppose.

Is it just me or do most of these changes represent the ditching of +Spirit for things like spell damage/healing and such as that?
I've always had a hard time seeing the value of Spirit. I know it's important, but it's not nearly as visible the +mana for Intellect, +health for Stamina or even the +crit/dodge you get from Agility.
It makes me wonder if Blizz plans to change the way Spirit works, since so little gear is going to have bonuses too it going forward.
Maybe we'll notice it when it's gone, or nearly so eh?

Welp, there goes most of the AQ40 Nature Resist gear. Most of Mauradon's gear lost it's NR. Granted, there should be better alternatives at this point, but still. Don't get why they are removing the resistance from those.

On that matter, where's all the +spell damage leather for Balance Druids? Zul'Farrak has 2 leather pieces with high +spirit that Druids really don't need. Could they drop the +spirit and replace it with +spell damage like all the cloth?
These 2 items in ZF, by the way:

Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9474

Why do those changes really matter? When I play my alt, getting any kind of an instance group together is like trying to get a message to the moon. So, most people either get a high level guildie to run them through or live with crappy quest rewards...oh or they could always buy overpriced items off the AH.
