I saw this poll over at the worldofwarcraft LiveJournal community, and immediately wondered how you loyal WoW Insider readers would vote, and whether it would be different from the LJers. The original question was: "Of all the classes available in WoW, what one do you have the least interest in playing?"
Now I know Death Knight is not technically available in WoW yet, but I'm sure some people are already violently disinterested in playing them, so I put them on the poll as well.
For the record, I voted Paladin. I don't know if that's because Priest has been my long-time main, and I'm just jealous of pallies' skills, or because I tried to level one once and it was slower than the time I tried to play Warbears, which was yesterday. Either that game is hard or I'm really dumb. Possibly both. Shaman is a close second though; I've never managed to get one past 20.

I've got a few 70s, and my Paladin is the one I like the least.

Pally, no question. No offence to those who are Pall's. I just don't think they'd be fun to play.

Safe to say most of the people who voted warrior have never tanked a level 70 instance. You're too busy to ever get bored.

Agreed: Pallies are the most boring.
I am trying to lvl one right now as well as one of every class in preperation for the increased xp coming in 2.3.

Paladins ARE pretty boring to play until about lvl. 30. But since then, I've been having a lot more fun with mine.
I really don't like to play a Warrior because I just don't like the Rage mechanic. It's a fine system, but it doesn't appeal to me.
Also, I don't like to play Druids very much, because I already have a Shaman.

The huntard is by far the most boring. Send pet. Hit autofire. Maybe fire off an arcane/volley/multi-shot/steady shot once in a while.
Feign death when needed.
Rinse. Repeat.
At least with a pally you can heal as well as bang on things.

Regarding Paladins: depends on the spec. If specced for healing ... ok, boring indeed. Pressing one button (FoL) isn't funny. Tanking, however, is actually fun. Thing is, however, no one let's you tank as a paladin. Because, as we all know, tanking is for real classes - warriors of course.

@6 Solo play, yes. Group play, no. Playing a hunter in a group can be fun if you're smart enough to control your pet ;-)
BTW, personally I think that sword rogues in groups are boring to play. SS, SS, SS, SS ... ;-)

Paladins aren't really fun to play until you can spec for aoe protection around level 35.
Then it becomes an absolute blast to play and gets even better as your gear and talents get better.
The thing that people don't realize is that protection aoe takes a certain type of gear in order for it to be successful. If you try to wear warrior gear with lots of strength, you're gonna get slaughtered. Once I got a decent fast weapon and a good shield with a shield spike, I focused on spell damage, even if it meant wearing non-plate items like a...

i voted warrior. my druids hanging at 69 so i can't speak to your "level 70" instance but was it clear that we're talking about endgame?
if you talk class as a whole from 1-70 i don't think anyones making an argument for what a blast warriors are at level 23. Especially if you like to solo more than group.

I also voted rogue, not because the class is boring but because it's so damned frustrating. Out of all the classes, this one seems to me to be the most dependant upon a stead latency. There was nothing more frustrating than being in an instance or battleground and seeing "out of range" constantly when you're standing right on top of the mob or player.

I for one cannot get into rogues or paladins. The highest I've taken either of those is 22. Thus far shaman is my favorite class to play though.

Voted Paladin because it's the only class I haven't tried and probably won't for awhile, aside from having a personal distaste for them as my ex cheated on me for one. (Well, he played a paladin, indirect cheat i guess XD) I'll probably try it someday, but my take is if I want to slash things, warrior/rogue, and if i want to heal things, druid/shaman/priest. Pally buffs are the only things awesome, if someone else had them they'd be useless.

I voted paladin, though in PvP it's probably one of the most interesting to play. With the relatively low DPS you've gotta work hard and pull out all the stops.
Unless you're Prot vs. Rogue, then it's kinda like leveling.

I have one of each class past level 30. My 2 70s are a Shaman and a Mage, which I enjoy. I leveled a Warlock to 61, and while I enjoy playing her, I haven't in a few months. (Being overpowered is overrated :P) And currently I am leveling my druid, which is level 61 also.
When BC came out, I started a belfadin, who I got to 42 in about 2 weeks, she's fun to play. I have a rogue, who is level 22, but I used to have a level 35 rogue that got deleted, so I'm familar with the class. My hunter is level 45 and I enjoy playing her because I'm never bored collecting pet abilities. My Priest and Warrior are both the same level, 33, and I enjoy them also but would play the priest over the warrior. Mostly because I actually ENJOY healing (ironically she's shadow for leveling) but also because, like someone above mentioned, I HATE trying to generate rage :P
Overall though, I like all the classes, each has their pros and cons and I enjoy that.
Oh, and as far as leveling goes....nothing can be slower than leveling as a resto shaman :P So that's no big deal hehe.

I absolutely love my paladin. You people are all crazy (except for my fellow pally-lovers, you're okay in my book).
