Brewfest bugs continue to infest the live servers. Despite a rolling restart of all the realms this morning, the Barker quest is still bugged on many servers. Blizzard is aware and is currently trying to unravel the latest mystery glitch.Blizzard was increasing the ticket reward for the Barker quest to make up for disabling the Dark Iron attack quest. If they can't get the Barker quest to work properly, they are going to have to think of another plan. There is only a limited amount of time to gather tickets for players who want the permanent rewards. CM Aeus on the European servers nixed the idea of the event getting extended.
Oceanic realms are also having Brewfest problems of their own. Because the servers are hosted in a different time zone, the Brewfest events didn't go live at midnight, but many hours later. Blizzard is aware of the time discrepancy problem and is looking into ways to avoid it in the future.
For players who intend to do the Barker quest when it is working, Blizzard has pointed out that /waving and /yelling are not necessary. You simply need to get close enough to the flags while on the Riding Ram. The quest updates using waypoint triggers, not emotes.
One bit of good news: the always excellent WoW Wiki has a page up on Brewfest listing quests, rewards, etc. This may help answer many questions players have such as, can I get the Ram quest before L40? (No.)

I've got an idea.
They could fix the broken sound-engine, or roll it back. Then worry about stuff like this.

Actually, the rolling restart -broke- the barker quest on my server (Venture Co.) horde side, at least. It was working fine yesterday.

@2 Same.
Horde on Ursin only get the Elekk Zapper and Keg run now. Sweet, every 12 hours, sigh. I started off good and have around 220 tickets now, but I fear at this rate I'll barely be able to get the mount, and most like have to pass up all the other things. =(
I dont see why they couldn't extend it for a day or two at the most. Hallow's End isn't till 2 or 3 days after.

This seems to be the same on EU realms, I'm on Daggerspine and dying for the mount . . . I hope this gets fixed soon. No barking and no dark iron dwarves and yet the entire population is still loitering outside Ironforge :D

Screw the mount; I just wanted my hat, shirt, shoes and goggles. That's 450 tickets. The keg would have been nice, too... there's 500.
I've hit 150. And now that the daily is wrecked, with no repair in sight, the best I'm going to be able to do is *maybe* 18 tickets every twelve hours, if I'm able to log in every 12 on the dot to maximize ticket production.
GG, Blizz. You took what was a really FUN event and fucked it up big time.
What's going on over there? 2.2 is a colossal FLOP, and Brewfest is definitely deserving of the title FailFest.
Is this what we can expect with the Horseman?
And God, I can only imagine how terribly bugged ZA will be.

So much for that "2.2's delay hasn't effected other patches" bullshit. At this rate they're either gonna need to come up with another way for people to earn tickets or dramatically lower prices. They really should have just held off on implementing this if it wasn't ready. Really, how hard is it to make up some story for the dwarves to explain their delay.

I haven't gone back since initially checking it out...brewfest was a huge waste of dev time IMO. Fix the fucking imbalance issues first.

UPDATE:
The barker quests are no longer working for me as well and still show the reward at only 15 tickets. The keg delivery quest is giving 3 tickets per keg, but since I accidently dismounted after only one keg and there is no way to get back on our ram even if you had time left I have effectively earned all of 3 tickets for the day. You all realize you're grinding FailFest tickets to get a pair of lederhosen, right?

Thank God I got most of my tickets for my mount before they turned off dwarves. The 40 ticket barker quest got me the last 37 I needed.

I only wanted the ponykeg for 50 tickets, and I got it, so I'm happy, but I can see how everyone else would be pissed.
I'm going to see how many weird and stupid places I can put that keg.

Personally, I'm looking forward to getting the ram mount - this time next year. Because that's when things will be working well enough to earn enough tickets.

You sir, need to rethink your ram riding strategy. If done properly, with the new 3 tix/keg... you can pull in 33-36 tickets ever 12 hours.
If ya can't figure out how, go read the riding tip on the wiki.

I really wish they'd make the bark quest work since all we can do is ram racing to get tickets for now. At least they made it 40 tickets that we can't earn instead of just 15.

What was odd for me on the Exodar server is that I had no problem with the Barker yesterday it would shout out as I raced past each flag and also no problem with the timer on it, if I took the short cut back to the tent. But today the quest was bugged and the shout was not being triggered. so the hot fix broke it on Exodar for me anyway.

PS: I was able to do the pink Ellek quest again though. Worked yesterday and worked today
