As is common with any major patch day, there are a few issues. Here are a few from the forums and what I've experienced:Instance servers are crashing on many realms.
From AV to Tempest Keep, players are having a hard time completing instances. Raiding is particularly hard hit.
It's OK to delete the Auction Sale Pending notice from your mailbox.
You will still get your cash when the new 1 hour delay is up. And, yes, everyone else seems to hate the new delay, too.
Windows resolutions and UI Scaling have been tweaked.
It's not your imagination and it also, according to Hortus, isn't a bug. Changing resolutions of the same aspect ratio will only give you a higher or lower image quality, but otherwise your view will not change. Windows are automatically resized to maintain aspect ratios and to reduce issues with stretching and distortion. If you aren't happy with the new size of your UI, turn on UI Scaling in the Video menu and adjust it accordingly.
Hopefully the instance servers will have been fixed by the time the patch is live in Europe. Sometimes it's better not being first.
I also recommend checking out the undocumented patch notes.

Things to know: patch 2.2 is a crock of shit with frequent crashes and no noticeable merits with the exception of 30-minute pally buffs.
Blizzard meeting: "Well, let's make 2.2 full of random and arbitrary junk to make people think we've actually been working on something during that extra two months we've postponed its release. Here's an idea - change the animation of Evocation to something slightly less cool. Why? Because we can." All parties involved raise their beer glasses and cheer.
Seriously, we waited all this time for voice chat in particular (the only true highlight of 2.2 since guild banks got knocked back), and instead they release a notice that sums it up for me as saying "Despite the public test realms being in place to... test things, we're going to continue testing after release on a few specific realms." How backwards.
Blizzard's shortcomings are not few, but nor are they too great. Still, it's almost enough to cause me to stop playing out of simple frustration of lack of company backing. I mean, really, what have they ACTUALLY been working on? Lich King? We'll never even know.

And the excuse for the 1 hour delay is gold sellers... please.
By delaying the AH payoff they are artificially slowing the economy, which for one toon doesn't seem to matter that much, but spread over 9,000,000+ accounts that is a hell of a lot of money Blizz is skimming from the player base's monthly subscription fee. Smells like a con to me.

Also worth noting: no Voice chat on most European servers.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or not but if I hover my cursor over any of my items in my bags, I get no description as to what they are. It's frustrating as hell!

Do NOT, I repeat, NOT try the Shartuul event in Blade's Edge Mountains, it's bugged atm; You are not able to heal yourself using the Assassin's Death Blast while Siphon Life is active - the bug is labled as "already known", both in US and EU, so don't waste your Darkrune like I wasted mine 2 hours ago.

Although the instance issues are a bit worrying, I think the hate and conspiracy theorizing are a little out of place.
I'm more excited about this patch than 2.1, as frankly I and my group of friends are more likely to use Voice Chat than see the inside of Black Temple.
Why exactly are we complaining about a patch which attempts to address several common player concerns...
- AV afk issues
- Paladin Buffs
- Some improvement to cat form range
- Resilience for DoTs
...and I'm glad they cancelled the Daze change.
Voice Chat is a major game feature - and might have a big impact on their infrastructure, so I'm glad they're doing this in small steps... PTR is a great place for testing the code & logic errors, but it's too small to be a load test.
I don't mean to be too defensive of Blizzard... sure, it would be nice if they dropped more resources into the ongoing development (I think they could afford it) and the list of things I cared about was longer, but put things in perspective.

One more thing - Will a 1hr delay inconvenience me or effect the way I use the auction house? It will not.
Skimming money off the top? You realize it's not the same as real money... Blizzard is not shifting our funds to a holding account where they invest millions of g in short term stock dealings?!?
If it effected the item I bought - they delay would annoy me. I can see how the change would impact someone who heavily plays the AH for profit, but it's not unreasonable for them to think this change will not effect most players (except for the 2nd message).

Is anyone else having an issue with targeting? It seems like my characters body is now interfering with my targeting somehow. I've noticed it a few ways.
One is as simple as where to target corpses to skin them. I have to click on a specific part of the body now, and sometimes it seems to be even not on the body itself. Plus I can't 'click through' my own characters body, so while in 3rd person mode, I'll have to move the camera around in order to get the proper target on the corpse.
Similiarly, when I'm running I 'strafe' using the mouse. I hold the right mouse button key and use the mouse and WASD in combonation to strafe, or run at angles. If my arrow starts on my character this no longer works. I have to start with the arrow off my character.
Minor changes, but very irritating ones. Like if someone moved the stickshift on my car back a foot. I could still drive, but I'd keep grabbing automatically for it in the wrong place.
Is it just me, or is this an acutal UI change?

@6 - Yes, this is happening to me too. The only items I can see descriptions of are the ones in my original bank bag (not bags I've added). I just figured I'll need to update all my add-ons.

@12, I'm having all kinds of problems with my icon, too. While I don't do much running and strafing on my paladin, I was fishing last night and noticed that there wasn't nearly as much 'give' in the placement of the arrow on the bobber, so much so that the normal movement of the water made it so I had to move my cursor to stay targeted.

Am I the only cat druid who thinks the range problem is far from fixed? I excitedly went out to test by raising mayhem among the poor bird-men only to find that I still have to basically be _inside_ their model to hit them. The rogue next door, however, was apparently quite happily beating them down while maintaining respect for their personal space. What gives?

I disabled all my add ons and the descriptions for items aren't there unless I put the item in the AH window or a mail window. I had to do this to see if it was something to vendor or Auction.
The new animations are like the shaman mana tide animation. Awesome in PvE. Horrible in PVP. It's a giant bullseye for the opponents.
Shaman can now stack ankhs to 10. Meanwhile they pay 20S each for them and a Paladin can buy symbol of kings in groups of 20 for less than 1 ankh. Yep, that's fair. At least make it groups of 20 so they don't have to buy the damn things more than once every few weeks.
I was really happy my realm went down in the middle of an ST run. We only had 1 troll left to kill to get to the dragons and poof, start over. Yea, real fun.
This AH crap is annoying. If I can't use the goblin AH to give my wife's alliance toon some money, I will be pissed.
The changes to gold for dailys are a bad thing, now I have to wait even longer. Thanks to the guy for making sure we don't waste time in ogrila on a bug event.

For people with items not showing the tooltip when mousing over them in bags, I know for sure Monkeyquest is causing this problem. Disable it before logging in. Worked for me.
The UI scaling thing really drove me nuts this morning when I logged in. 1680x1050 here, and my UI was all jacked. I ended up turning the scale down a bit, but still had to move quite a few addons around the screen to reposition them to where they were before. :/

@4 can you explain your "theory" as to how slowing AH transactions skims money from 9million customers?
The money still leaves the buyer at the point of sale and is instant, you get the item you buy instantly, only the seller loses an hour, and considering that for myself I don't receive my money until the next day because I list my auctions before I log I really don't see the big change.
@1 I think your concerns are real and I think you should quit the game, it hurts me to see your cries for help and the self cutting you inflict from it. l-o-l

Ok, so what do you do when your money does not arrive? I have Sale
pending from yesterday and it says money would be arriving at 328 (yesterday).
It never came (though a later one did)?? Is there something I missed in the Patch notes about
that?? or a post I missed? Or anyone else having this problem?
