First Orc shoulders, now Draenei shoulders
Hot on the heels of the Orc shoulder scandal (to be fixed in patch 2.2), World of Raids has some screenshots suggesting that Draenei shoulder graphics are smaller on the PTRs. While I always thought the level of concern with shoulder size to be sort of odd, the outcry over Orc shoulders made it clear that it's an issue players care about. So why-oh-why is Blizzard restarting the debate over appropriate shoulder size by shrinking the shoulders of another race? We'll see if this graphical change, more minor (at least to my eyes) than the Orc alteration, causes the same level of public anger.

Indeed, Male Draenei wearing stuff the T6 shoulders look absolutely *HUGE* in game.
Then again, WoW Forums, changes, crying, cesspool. It's to be expected.

I play a Draenei and after looking at those pics thats a lot more reasonable for shoulder size. The orc shoulders they really got shrunk whereas this isn't as extreme of a size change.

The shoulders are still too large, IMO. I understand the need to have big shoulders to show off the fancy graphics of the elite loot, but let's not totally obscure the character's head.

Shoulder armor has always been very important in Blizzard games, from Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft II, all the way to World of Warcraft. It's a simple equation in the minds of Blizzard art designers: the bigger the shoulders, the closer to god.

NO NO NO NO NO! It was funny when it happened to the orcs but this is just cruel and unusual.

I dont mind the smaller pauldrons on a dranei, they were way to huge in my opinion, simply because they take up 40% of your character's spot on the screen and never really connect to your dude's shoulders.

The Draenei shoulders should be bigger than Orc shoulders but smaller than Tauren shoulders - right?
I'm still not sure that they got it right if this change goes live...

Why is it people always start QQing about orcs QQing about their shoulder size? I know it's not game-breaking, or anything, but if your shoulders ballooned to 3 times their normal size after a patch, you would expect Bliz to fix it. When they instead told the entire orc player base, "LOLZ, AR BAD" and told us to wait all summer for a fix, because they couldn't be bothered to hotfix it? That's just shoddy.
