More PTR changes! Hooray! This time it's the US forums that have the
newest notes, which appear to have been changed from the last version only in the Professions and Quests sections. Here are the modifications:
- [Jewelcrafting] A new recipe for Steady Talasite is now available from the Halaa vendors, at the cost of research tokens. This superior green gem grants resilience and stamina.
- [Blacksmithing] Added a new recipe for Ragesteel Shoulders that drops from an unknown creature in Shadowmoon Valley.
- [Blacksmithing] Reduced the number of pieces required to get the benefits of the Ragesteel set bonus.
- [Engineering] Reduced the cooldown on the engineer-made Parachute Cloak.
- Quests:
- Banish the Demons now rewards either a Darkrune or a Fragmented Darkrune. Five fragmented Darkrunes can be combined to create a Darkrune.
- In the Bomb Them Again quest, the cooldown of the Skyguard bombs was decreased to 5 seconds (was 10).
- In the Relic's Emanation quest, the money reward was decreased while the Ogri'la faction reward was increased.
No major changes, then. Go forth and test the voice chat!

Banish the Demons - hot change. Now we don't have to cross our fingers for a darkrune!
Bombing change - Just as hot. Quicker quest credit.
Relic's Emanation - time to find a new daily to replace this :P Unless of course we're talking a minute loss of gold.

@3: i had the exact same reactions.
i'm guessing they'll make it 8g, kinda like the aldor/scryer quest in SMV.
personally, i'll prolly ditch it if and when the cooking quest goes in (unless that one goes cheap as well.)
i really could do without returning to the nagrand kill quest -- or (shudder) the relic one.

re:relic I tried it out today; it's about 9.2g. Still pretty good.
And honestly the speed-up on the cooldown for the monuments is a huge time-saver. I hadn't realized how much time I was spending "blowing cooldown" over the ridges.

30mins to 30seconds for the cloak cooldown. I dunno about game changing but it is certainly gonna change the number of people I kill on their flying mounts.

Good thing i'm exaulted with the Skyguard and Ogri'la.
When I used to have my regular flying mount, that 10 second cd on the bombs were a MAJOR PAIN, because i'd get shot down so much. But now I have epic flying! I'm still glad they changed it. It'll make getting money easier.

@5, the change to Parachute Cloak is likely in direct response to everyone being able to get a slow fall cloak with reputation.
