Murloc suit in action
If you can't make it to Blizzcon with us, you can still grab a Murloc Suit on eBay for a redonkulus amount of real world moolah, or you can just indulge in the video above. If you are here, look for us and say hello (we've got swank WoW Insider badges thanks to Amanda)! If you're not here, look forward to our exhaustive coverage from the show floor tomorrow. Woot!

HOLY Crap those E-bayers! The Price tag they have on that is just stupid! They are paying for their whole trip to Blizzcon with it! LOL

haha, Arandalon, I am a civilian contractor over here, I stay indoors as MUCH as possible! I no longer have to fight the fight, just support those who do!

Just came back from the WoWI meetup at the Lost Bar - got myself a nice quest ender cap out of it! I've already redeemed my suit and was dancing outside the bank in IF to lots of whispers asking me where I got the costume from.
What was amazing was that some actually asked, "What's Blizzcon?"

I do wish they'd have some in-game stuff for those of us unfortunate enough to not have the free time to go to an event like this. A way to get a Merloc suit via questing but only for this one weekend, ect.

This will only be useful if you can enter combat with it on. Imagine an entire AV with Murloc suits. Not worth the $100 ticket price / $300 - $500 ebay price otherwise. Casting time seems a bit long too.

Yes, you can't mount, or enter combat with the suit on - it dispels when you do the latter. The emotes are pretty limited as well. There's a /dance and a /wave, and when you jump there's a chance you'll fall flat and then scramble back to your feet, but I've not been able to discover anything else it can do.

This footage was taken at the official meetup, which was muy fun. I'll be getting some shots up as soon as possible with a run-down of the fun for those of you who couldn't make it.

Great!! Thanks Lizbeth! Yer a sweetie! I am glad you all had a grand time at the meetup, looks like there were plenty of people there!
LOL someone actually asked "What's Blizzcon?!" haha!
Yeah the suit is a nice little trinket, would think it is worth the prices they are selling them for on E-bay though, unless you got the money to waste, I know I do but I have better things to waste it on than that!! Hell $500-600 can get you a decent desktop or a crappy laptop computer now days!
Anyway, Keep up the reporting Bloggers I wanna hear all about it!! MORE PICS, cuz yeah those of the Waiting line *yawn* now the vid of the murloc suit in action..props!

OK I feel dumb, but how do I redeem my suit? I went to the web site and got the special code. I went to to the guy in Booty Bay, he has a host of special promotions; Imp in a Ball, Ogre Disguise, etc. But no Murloc suit. What am I missing?

You have to go to the vendor guy near the Hunter trainer in Orgrimmar. It's a murloc.

Thanks for the hint. I got my suit from the Murloc guy in Ironforge up by the warlock trainer, the same one who has had the murloc pet for awhile.
