B Dazzld over on Livejournal has posted her guild's minimum stats required to enter Karazhan, and it should serve as a great guide to those of you wondering if you're ready to start raiding the endgame.I've reposted them all past the jump, so click the link below to see if you're epic enough to join the raid. Truthfully, these stats are considerably lower than you'd need to actually beat all of Karazhan-- Curator is a nice gear check that would probably blow a raid like this away. Of course, the great thing about raiding is that the more you win, the better your gear gets, so even if you can just down the first few bosses every week, you're well on your way to gearing up your ten raidmembers.
This kind of thing tends to attract the hardcore people who like to brag that they had +1000 healing at level 60 and if you have any less than that, you're a noob. That kind of thing's not too helpful, because not everyone has hours a day to grind away on gear. But I'll tell you-- my gear sucks compared to most of the people I'm rolling through Karazhan with, and I'm still better than this listing, so it shouldn't be too hard for you, just running 5mans and the occasional heroic, to get to this point at least. So if you haven't been able to join up with a raid yet, or don't feel that you're helping on the raids you're going on, here's an easy guide that can give you something to aim for. And since I know you great commenters will anyway, by all means provide your own thoughts about these gear minimums in the comments below.

Even though it was pointed out several times, those really ARE a low minimum - as in "within the realm of possibility" but I'd suggest slightly better stats for most classes. Its "do-able" certainly but especially the clothies look really low to me.

The fact is that most people who can actually objectively judge these would consider these low (as you all are). But keep in mind that these numbers are meant to be just a target for people who don't know what to aim for. These are just ballpark figures for someone who's recently hit 70 to figure out what they might need to work on-- more mana, more health, higher crit rating-- as they start raiding.

The posted stats would be next to impossible to get unless you have full heroic gear, and heroic gear is a waste of time. Kara isnt that hard.

I couldn't judge his gear, but from the armory link that he says is their maintank I see a Def that's complete fucked up.
no points in Focused Rage, but 5 Points in Unbridled Wrath.
For Kharazan min requirements:
lvl 70, attuned. that's all.
You go in with 10 ppl. Down Attumen (no that's not difficult). Then you go and eventually wipe on moroes, then you go on and wipe on Maid, then you go on and wipe at Opera.
There is no point in NOT raiding Kharazan. Even if you get wiped in and out. It's still experience.
If you haven't entered Kharazan yet, you where not raiding before TBC and you're in need of experience.
Every wipe = experience.
Gear won't change a thing that you will wipe there :)

I find it funny all the people who didn't actually read their explanation, and just looked at the stats. This was meant to be an "entry-level" requirement for Karazhan. I'm assuming they're looking for the ability to down the first 3 (maybe 4 including the Opera Event) bosses. These are decent markers for that goal.

If you go to the actual posting and read through the comments, you'll see some amendments to these minimums.
The warlock stats are too low, even as bare minimums, and the three specs should be broken out just like with other classes. Affliction locks should have a minimum of 650-700 +shadow damage unbuffed, and the spell crit isn't relevant. 8-10% is nice for the occasional shadowbolt crit, but otherwise it is a useless stat to build compared to spell damage, stam, and int. Destro locks are the ones that need to concentrate on spell crit.
5% spell hit is fine to walk through the door, but by Curator you should be working on that golden 14-16% spell hit target. Aff locks should consider respec'ing to get Suppression to boost their hit, and I can tell you that it is necessary for the later Karazhan encounters. www.elitistjerks.com has a good post on warlock dps that will explain the math as to why spell hit is so critical to boost your dps with higher end encounters.
I go in with around 12K health with all the raid buffs (fort, spirit, AB, paw, salvation, imp. imp, and armor), and boost it to around 13500 for the Curator with around 215 Arcane Resist. I can take a punch or two as a clothie, which means sustained DPS throughout the fight. I am, however, completely dependent on Dark Pact for mana, and that's one area I'd like to improve.

Err, is this a joke?
Also, re. rogues - my crit% is less than 24% unbuffed but my AP is considerably higher than 1100. I'm a sword spec rogue, so crit isn't as much of an issue for me as it would be for a dagger rogue. This doesn't seem to be reflected, though.

I slightly disagree, but only depending on your group makeup. I would take standard spell damage & the higher mana over shadow damage. If only because of progression on Maiden. Most wipes come during the stuns and it's a useful strategy to play the fight out of shadowform to use HoTs & PoMs if your healers don't have them. If you spec in full +shadow, you miss out on the +healing that can save a wipe if your MH goes down.

Dagger rogues have talents to boost their crit so it isn't a massive issue for them. A rogue should be getting more +hit and attack power then what is listed.

Are more realistic imo (especially since I have full kara gear and less then 24% cirt. I do have 1730 attack power and 22% hit though)

That is WAY too low. I happen to be the class leader of my guild and you are *NOT* entering Kara past Curator if you don't have AT LEAST 900 +Shadow Damage and 8k health/7.5k mana, or 600 +dmg and 10k health for a full Affliction build.
Destro locks must have the first combo AND 20% +crit, or respec to Demo or Affliction.
