The flag kills it honestly... boo on the Blizz flag! BOOOOO! That's why I hated that dumb 'WoW' tabard too... ugh, lame OOC stuff in an in-game environment sucks.

Look if i'm flying across the country to go there I better get something cool. Traveling like that already puts me on the fence. Yeah I'm sure the experience of meeting other players is cool... but personally i don't give a care about starcraft that much, I can see rob pardo's speech later that night on youtube from someone else, I don't care to sit at open terminal's playing wow in like some big convention size gaming dungeon.

To each his own, but hey i like collecting cool swag. And if it's not that cool, I'm not gonna pony up the money just to go to anaheim to hang out.

I want one. I plan on going to Blizzon anyway, buying my tix today. As I understand it, if I get the ticket, I get the murloc suit?

Well, at least US players can go there without having to spend 13+ hrs on a plane.

And the really nasty part is, not only am I expected to pay 2000 $ for the flight, they want me to pay entrance fee as well!

EU players should have free entrance!!

Oh man, that's hilarious. It's so weird and over-the-top! And the animation is brilliant. It's too bad so few people will get to see it.

I think the flag is great. Remember, the murloc suit isn't meant to make you look like a murloc; it's meant to make you look like one of those crazy uber-fan convention-goers who made their own costume.

If you don't want your murloc suit, you'll be able to sell your claim ticket online for quite a bit of money; maybe enough to pay for your ticket.

But it's not all for Blizzcon. I'll be at the San Diego Comic-Con the weekend before.

In answer to @4: Whether you go to Blizzcon is of course entirely your choice, whatever your reasons, but just to point out: if you don't want the murloc suit, I'm sure you can trade the code. There'll always be people who want to.

Not to sound too "RP" but the flag just doesn't belong. That's my issue with it.
Blizzard likes to say things don't "fit" the world when it suits their argument (like say when they made the BE male arms bigger back in the beta) but where does Blizzcon take place in Azeroth? It just doesn't fit the world and doesn't make any sense to ruin the suit with the silly flag.
It would be funnier if you had the suit and were able to blend in at Murloc camps for a period of time.
I dunno, it would be better without the flag and wouldn't ruin the immersion even further than it already does.
