Archimonde down, Nihilum beats TBC
And here I thought Nihilum was going to take a break. But no! They have just defeated Archimonde, the final boss of Mount Hyjal, which means that they have cleared every PvE encounter currently available in WoW. Um...good job, guys! (This was, of course, another world first.) What's next?
MMO-Champion has Archimonde's loot table. Here's what Nihilum got.

They could at least have the courtesy to post a video so the millions of us rubes can see what our $15 a month pays for.

I actually get pretty sick of hearing about them. It's like that kid down the street who has a big screen TV, a really expensive bicycle, his family drives a Mercedes, goes on exotic vacations several times a year, yada yada. It's just like... enough already! Let someone else bask in the glory for once.

dmoz: To be quite honest, I'm a bit tired of writing about them, but a world first is a world first. I would have been quite pleased if someone else had gotten this one.

It's a shame they aren't roleplayers. It's a daaaaamn shame. In fact, are there any endgame roleplaying guilds? If there are, I haven't seen one.

so, now they can tell blizzard that the encounter is way too easy, blizz will be glad to buff it and nihilum will not get any x-mas-cards from all the other elite-guilds.
nice job ;)

After reading there board where they admitted to use bought gold to cut down times I've lost my respect for that guild.
Well, they killed the final boss, hurray! Now they might see that cheating the way up is not really increasing the fun that you have when playing.

Cost:$40-$50 for WoW + $11.99-$13.99 per month
Reward: You fucked yourself and all your friends out of A) a life and B) real enjoyment of the game
congrats, you now win the orange drop for having no life.

@9 All the big raiding guilds use bought gold and/or glitch exploitation because they can't be bothered to kill trash mobs either for money or to get to their destination whichever is applicable.
People like the ones in the big raiding guilds don't deserve respect they give every other wow player a bad name because they're arrogant, self aggrandizing and although some of them are honest many of them would kill their own mother to get what they want whether that be loot or another goal of theirs.

Grats to Nihilum on the buffed kill. I knew you guys would pull through. Now you can enjoy the rest of the summer while Blizzard comes up with more n00b encounters. No offense but an official grats.

Yay the gold buyers who raid 40+ hours a week killed a boss.
The only interesting thing about Archimonde dying is the question of just how badly Blizzard mangled the lore.

well after reading a post made about a former Nihilum stating that that they used a bug or a hack of some sort to down what-ever boss at the moment, to gain the world boss kill then i lose respect to them or to any power house guilds that do crap like that. Even buying gold to replace materials to use in future runs is really lame.
I wanna see a not so popular/no name guild down something on they're first attempt on bosses in Kara or BT!!

So they admit to buying gold, but Blizz doesn't ban them?
Now that is unfair favouritism.

I was going to congratulate Nihilum, but if the above info is correct (could one of you provide a link?) and the "top guilds" are buying gold/cheating, then all I've got is a big feckin' "mehh" for you losers.
So, if it turns out Nihilum is a bunch of gold buying cheaters.. could we please stop posting about then and can we find out what's the real raid progress?

fully agree with Foobar11 and Theserene.
why immortalize people who need to cheat to become something big in a game.

Nihilum is the PvE god, and deserves to be recognised as such. Cheaters or not, extra gold doesn't buy kills.
Any team with the determination and coordination to achieve goals is a winner. Don't hate them because they did it first.

Any guild that raids 40+ hours a week to get a world first in a nonexistant world can go fuck themselves and get a life.
