Nihilum, never ones to rest on their laurels, tore through Tempest Keep and
claimed the head of Kael'thas Sunstrider in a bold sweep that landed them the world first kill on live servers. From there, they finished the Mt. Hyjal attunement quest, and then proceeded to peek their heads in and see what was up in Hyjal. Just to send a warning shot to the other bosses that it was just a matter of time, they decided to tear Rage Winterchill a new one and leave his corpse behind as a warning. Due to a bug in that fight,
Tigole had to get involved and reimburse them as only one of the items for Black Temple attunement dropped -- as opposed to the 25 expected.
With those items in hand, they headed towards
the Black Temple, finished up the attunement chain, and then took down both High Warlord Naj'entus and Supremus in a one-two punch based on their hard work learning the strategies on
the PTRs. In one evening, they secured four World First kills on live servers, thereby proving their dedication to the destruction of endgame content.

Somehow high end raiding in WoW seems to have a serious problem: Because Blizzard has to give high end guilds the chance to test encounters on the PTRs thoroughly before they go live (otherwise the encounters tend to be completely rotten with bugs for months), they are also getting all the time they need to figure out the tactics and practice the boss on a server where they can easily create masses of consumables and money by smart use of the character copy functionality. No wonder they're able to world-first-kill those bosses in a row once the patch is live.
This tends to make all this world-first stuff pretty boring for bystanders like us: there are no more interesting "races" for world-firsts between different guilds, it's just the question who spent enough time on the PTRs pre-patch to instantly kill the bosses once they're live.

I don't know how the internal tests are down at Blizzard but they have serious balance problem....
One day bosses can't be killed, only heavily dedicated guilds (read raids every day with heavy buffs) able to down them. Some other day bosses kills announcements are raining.
Ok, we're still a long way to hear that Vashj, Kael (and soon Archimonde/Illidan) are farmed but....
Anyway, GG to Nihilum for their hard work and dedication !!

Yawn, the content is too heavily nerfed and is being gone through too fast. At this point, who cares? Bring back instances like Naxx, Aq40 and BWL. People QQ cause blah blah is too hard. WoW is getting boring because of this. I am clearly unimpressed.

I think what happened here was that you just saw about two or three months of guild progression that should have happened starting in March or so that didn't happen until now because all of their gear was underpowered. Now they've still been GETTING all that gear, so now that it's at the power level that it should be, they're going through all of these encounters. If the gear had been powered as such beforehand then the boss downings would have been more gradual.

Meh, Spend as much time as they do playing and anyone could do it, 6-7 days a week is their raid demand, no wonder they have a high burnout rate.
The part that irks me is Blizz treat them like Ambasadors for the game, a game that is fighting an image of being too demanding on time and addictive and their poster boys are a group who consider 24/7 raiding normal.

Hey, i'd just like too congrat Nithilum, I know they have been so many times. But, watching all videos made, (thanks) its jaw dropping. I guess you can say its skills? They are just completly owning the game. Doing everything right. Getting gear and slowly advancing to harder Raids. If you also look at it. Break it down statistically , all the Crits of heals landed on the tank(s) are what boils this down. also the crits meleed onto the tanks. The fact that they made it this far is phenominal, and now blizz is going to have to make a brand new Patch just for Nithilum. ^_^ Good Luck on future events. I would love to raid with you guys. If you even need an extra.... lmao j/k
